I understand that its hard to cook such a small piece of salmon but i can do it for myself at home why this restaurant need to pay a cook who cant...? It was super dried out. But maybe because that size was like a joke. Would you cook yourself such a small peace ? Its does not worth the cleaning and this dessert is a second joke. Oh god....

The one star is about the bad disappointment we experienced today when checking out of the Therme. We had a long journey there, and called up front if the "sun tarif" is okay today. Yes it is.

On checking in at the main entrance, it was again confirmed it is the case. Being with three children, we did not have time to read the small print on some folder. Checking out at 19:30, we were informed that the tarif runs only until 19:00 and all children are now charged 12,50 Eur instead of 1 Eur (!). Even our three year old girl costs 12,50 this way. We saw other families still in the water when leaving, so we were probably not the only ones with this bad surprise.

In our opinion this is a rip-off and bad customer service, and leaves a bad taste on an otherwise nice day.

A good thermal spa with 3 pools. 1 indoor, 1 outdoor with salt water, and 1 regular outdoor. There is also an indoor and outdoor fun pool for small children. For additional cost there is also a sauna world. Has an on site restaurant that’s good enough for lunch. Overall the price can be expensive, but for a visit from time to time it is worth it and always an enjoyable.

My husband has recently been ill so we visited whilst staying with our daughter in law.
The children’s area was lovely with loungers & family beds. It was nice that people shared their toys as she had forgotten his.
We then went to a large pool that was very busy with no room to swim. I am a swimmer so missed being able to do a few lengths. Then they did a class which wasn’t roped of so we had to go though it when leaving a circular area that had jets in seats. This area was very nice.
We also used the pool were u are propelled round I had trouble leaving which caused much amusement.
The outside area with music & waterfall was spoilt for us by couples acting inappropriately they needed to use a hotel room! The water here tasted weird.
We only put our feet in outside pool but children were in it.
All pools were warm and areas clean.
We had to feed grandson so used cafe went for coffee but cakes looked so good we ate to.
Only complaint is changing lockers are bit small.
The wrist band payment is good idea.
We found it expensive compared to our local spa were saunas steam rooms are included. But would visit again for health benifets of water for husband which we don’t have locally.
Would recommend bringing footwear.
Lots of steps which was a pain with buggy which had to have covers put on wheels but we walked around in our outdoor shoes?

The very large and popular "Therme Laa" and now with new styling "Silent SPA" is located on the outskirts of Laa and is easily accessible by transport, with a huge parking lot for buses and cars
Two very large and beautifully designed thermal pools (36 and 34 degrees with indoor and outdoor pools)
promise and offer a very good relaxation experience. The outdoor pool is covered by a huge silver umbrella, where the water temperature is about 34 degrees. In the thermal outdoor pool, a very pleasant brine pool (about 36 degrees) with a very large bench and small waterfall. In addition, the rather cooler sports pool (summer swimming pool) with "normal temperatures".
The whole indoor thermal area is generously equipped with many new loungers on the existing floors and is always kept very clean, the relax lounge area offers additional comfort in a nearly private atmosphere, where various offers such as relax pool bag, relaxation snack, free Infrared usage, etc. are offered, but at an additional cost.
The wellness sauna area has been extensively renovated in both the indoor and outdoor area and has really been adapted to modern requirements.
A very large stone pine sauna, the pleasant pond sauna with a very large picture window overlooking the small pond, a steam bath with scent and sound and a thermal hot water outdoor pool (also suitable for swimming) and a smaller cold water plunge pool. Special infusions (salt, pine needle, almond-vanilla, etc.) are carried out at different times.
Very good the non-smoking concept in the sauna-outdoor area, so you are from disturbing smoke in the relaxed environment but very well protected - a small area for some smokers, but very secluded was created. The lawn area has been expanded to include many comfortable, modern daybeds.
This spa area offers a pleasant spa experience, while the sauna bar is located on the first floor and offers a variety of smaller dishes and healthy drinks. The Thermen-SB-Restaurant offers daily specials at reasonable prices. The price-performance ratio of the spa is OK, because you get a lot offered.

When in Vienna I usually visit the Spa in Oberlaa in southern Vienna, which has been a wonderful place to go for the past 30 years. Last Christmas, we wanted to try a new Spa and decided to drive to Laa/Thaya, on the Austrian-Czech border. The drive takes around one hour from Vienna but there are advantages of driving all the way here. Firstly, it is less crowded than Oberlaa. Secondly, the kind of visitors seem more polite and well-behaved than the one in Oberlaa. Thirdly, it is cheaper (it costs around 21 Euros for 3 hours, compared to 28 Euros in Oberlaa). Of course, if you factor in the drive from Vienna, the fuel costs make up for this difference. The water temperature is lovely and it has an indoor and outdoor pool. As a comparison, Oberlaa offers more activities, like a salt-water pool and a large kids' area. Also, two long slides are provided in Oberlaa. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you do not have kids. It does not offer many activities for children, but it is less crowded and more relaxing than the competing Spa in Vienna.

The place is crowded, might be ideal for families with kids but surely not for relaxing purposes. There are three big pools, one cold and two warm. There is a very small and crowded SPA area with three different saunas (included in the price). Entrance price: 25 euros.

My wife and I were here at the beginning of November (peak season?) and almost everything was overpriced and crowded. The „silent spa“ did not match my expectations - it’s pretty expensive and people were talking loudly on the phone and to one another... Nevertheless, we both really liked the massages in the hotel spa.

Nice space, nice entance, nice staff, you have big space in changing room, than you came to man bath and you see small girl insidewith her father, what is not right. Pool is not so big, water is 34 *C warm, what is not so much. In pool smal children spashing arround, even is this not allowed.
Salt pool is 36*C and better for relax. Food is overpriced and taste is like from past. Choice is small, and visual is poor. Be honest spagetti with some kind of souce for 9,80€ is price for good hotel, not a spa price. Generaly spa cost much more as you await. We pay mera than 90 euro for 3 people and stay from 14 till 17 pm. Regarding a sauna, for this price must be much more clean and some value with cooling space ( not regullary shower) and herbal oils added. For me not a space for next visit, if compare with spa in Hungary and Slovakia, this is not place where I will return againg.
