This park is new ( has been build in the last 5 years) and it clearly shows it's new.

The grass is well maintained the benches are very clean.

There is a few picnic areas and small restaurants in the area which looked reasonably priced.

For the kids there are swings, tennis courts and basket ball courts.

If in the area it's a really amazing park to visit.

We went there in September 2017, the park is very nice, the swimming pools looked like they have not been working for months. The worst part of this park Is that dogs are forbidden there. My boyfriend had to stay outside with our dog because the security guard did not let the dog in. There are some cafeterias, some children's playgrounds, no shops though. There is a lake with some small boats you can ride, very good nature - lots of trees and flowers, a natural river and a lot of animals.

Rila park is relatively new, built back in 2010. Keep in mind this is not the National Park Rila which represents the Rila mountain itself. The park is located 3-4 km southeast off the city of Dupnitsa in direction to Bistritsa village. It is a magnificent green park and enjoyable place for relaxation for adults and children with lots of walking alleys, river and waterfall, two swimming pools, sporting facilities, nicely decorated chapel, artificial lake where you can go boating, restaurants but also self-service BBQ slots etc. All these are free of charge, no entry fee at all! A small wheels train runs hourly from the city to the park and a large parking is available in front, 1 lev fee only to pay. Last but not least, enjoy the magnificent view of the mountain prior to continue your trip to the top and the beautiful seven Rila lakes.

This is a recently renovated park that has play equipment, exercise areas, running paths, and cafes. There is also a small man-made lake at one end, and a swimming pool at the other. It's the nicest park in the region.

A must see in Dupnitsa if you go there during the summer. I liked how the park seemed without an end and you just look at the mountains and lake behind.
You should definately go for the long walk until the end of the park where you can find a beautiful lake.
