I was running late 13mints cause someone of the group lost their phone, when I call the owner minutes ahead to tell him that I was running late he told me he can’t wait and I said ok, after that he call me again just to wait for me but yelling me and giving instructions very rude by phone, the communication was not professional. He kept the 50% of the advanced money, I would not recommend this service.

Amazing experience in Costa Rica! If you're staying near Jaco/Hermosa Beach, you have to do a sunset sail with Alejandro. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and you get some down time on a private beach only accessible by boat.

We hired Blangala for a trip in September. It was dissapointing that they promised a private service and we ended up sharing our trip with 4 people we did not know and were loud and disrespectful. The owner apologized and he gave us a second chance, booking us, but it was very difficult. When he finally said it would be ok, he booked us on an afternoon trip, on a rainy day. The boat has a trampoline and we saw how it broke. It can be a hazard, specially for children. It is evident there is no maintenance to this boat and the pictures and videos promoted are from some years ago. It is a shame that even foreigners hop in and ask for refreshments they have been promised and they don´t offer once you get to the boat. We shared ours with a guy from Spain in the last unfurtunate trip, but we would not recommend this option, as there are many other alternatives offering better service and with boats in optimal conditions.

Alejandro the captain is very caring. I really enjoy the sailing! The snack was only a watermelon so bring your own food if you thing you’ll be hungry. Water was provided. I have to say l felt a little bit sorry for the wale we were pursuing... so think twice!

The captain (Alejandro) and his son were so friendly and experienced sailors. We enjoyed ourselves and ended up getting the boat to ourselves which was very nice. The beach was amazing and on the ride back we had a great time on the choppy waves riding in the front and getting splashed. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a romantic and fun sunset cruise!
