Easter Island, (aka Rapa Nui) is a Chile’s remote volcanic island. Its native name is Rapa Nui. It’s known as archaeological UNESCO sites with more than 800 monumental statues called moai, created during the 13th–16th centuries. The moai are carved human figures with oversize heads. It is about 5 hours flight from Santiago and the permit entry to the island must be completed on the web prior being allowed to get the boarding ticket at the counter. MaKe sure to keep the immigration document with your passport for the return flight. The sceneries and the formation of the moai at several key locations from the West side (e.e., Tahai) and East side (e.g., Rano RaRaku) are just spectacular, especially at the sun rise and sunset. The park pass will only allow entry to each park per day only. The foods are quite good at many places in the island and there are several small market places for foods and drinks, etc. We spent 3 days and 2 nights with a rental van. It’s easy to drive around the island, but we do need to download the google map of the island prior to be there. It helps to navigate around the island. Highly recommended.

We toured for two days with our guide Franco & 6 other guests.
He was so knowledgeable & accomodating. Each day we were invited to Marcus & Alicia’s home for lunch where we ate & listened to them singing. They are such welcoming owners - would highly recommend these small group tours!

We booked two day-long private tours (Journey of Legends and Megaliths) with Easter Island Travel. The booking process was easy, and the tours themselves are designed well, with the right amount of sites on each day. Over the course of the two days, we felt like we had seen and learned about the best things on the island. We especially enjoyed sunrise at Ahu Tongariki (an add-on), the Orongo village and Rano Kau crater, and the moai at Rano Raraku.

Our tour guide Joaquin was fantastic, and we had an excellent time with him. He was personable, very knowledgeable, and adaptable to our specific interests and needs as well as to the weather. He added a few small stops where it made sense for us to see additional ahus and moai. His friendliness and enthusiasm for the history and traditions of the Rapa Nui people and about life on the island are what really made our time here the highlight of our trip to Chile.

I signed up for the tour to see the hidden gems of the island and it was worth every penny. It was a group of three total, and the guide, Maeva, was incredible. Very knowledgeable, and when the other two members of the group wanted to tweak the itinerary a bit (I was also in favor), she didn’t miss a beat. She was hugely knowledgeable and friendly-just the kind of guide you hope to find. The company also gave us water bottles and a huge lunch as part of the tour (I ended up getting three lunches out of the bag of snacks and sandwiches they gave us). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anyone I liked.

It was fantastic. Marcus was so helpful in planning our trip of 48hrs to see as much as we could. Angelo was a great guide, flexible and knowledgeable and great wet weather gear when the weather was less kind to us.

Cannot tell how impressive these days have been. I'm already in love with South America after these 4 days. Chile has been amazing, but Easter Island, wow, this was different. The statues are in the middle of nowhere and the theories behind made me speechless.
What could improve here is the infrastructure, because it's quite expensive due to connection problems. Anyway, worth every penny to visit!

If anyone doubts whether it's worth spending on the tours booked through Easter, don't hesitate - definitely take both tour A and tour B
As soon as I had made the reservation, I received confirmation from Marcus and recommendations on how to spend as useful as possible the few (always few!) days on this wonderful island.
2 days and 14 hours, I will never forget the time spent with guide Tavita! Only a person who loves it with all his heart can show his island in this way.
Punctuality, correctness, extensive knowledge and just being cool are the trademarks of Easter Island Travel!
I absolutely recommend it to everyone who wants to see the island of Rapa Nui in all its beauty and feel the soul of this island.

Andres was a great guide. He was very well informed and had a wealth of knowledge to impart. We visited all the major highlights and afterwards I got to visit plenty of restaurants and artesanal markets on my three day visit to Rapa Nui. He was very accommodating in where he picked me up and dropped me off on both days for the two day private tour. He even gave me plenty of recommendations on restaurants and what to do outside of the tour times.

We had a wonderful two days of excursions with guide Alberto Rapu from Easter Island Tours. The tours were magical and Alberto was very knowledgeable and friendly. We are especially glad to have done the Poike hike since there were so many unexpected and fascinating experiences and seemed to have that part of the island just for ourselves. We can highly recommend Easter Island Travel and Alberto Rapu to future guests.

We were so glad that we started our Rapa Nui stay with an Easter Island Travel tour. The day after we arrived, we had booked a full day private tour (B: Megaliths) to get a proper introduction to the Moai. What we saw was spectacular, and what we learned made our following days on the island even better, because we already had some insight when we did other activities and saw other sights later on. Our guide was a very knowledgeable and fun guy, and we spent a truly great day in his company. Highly recommended!
