The Kari Kari dancers were some of the best I have seen. I've seen a few Polynesian dances in Tahiti and Hawaii and the Kari Kari was the top show. It seemed more raw and pure. The dancing in Hawaii has been tamed down for tourists, especially if you visit the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. The Polynesian Cultural Center... More

We loved this show - it's a great balance of entertainment, storytelling and cultural education, and well worth the money. You don't need to speak Spanish (or any other language) to follow the music and dancing. Remember to take your dancing shoes as they encourage audience participation towards the end of the show - although it's not at all compulsory!

A real must see when visiting the island, one of the oldest preforming groups and it really shows, great performance and explainations during the show of the different meanings of different dances. a real cultural experience.

Went here my last night and it was fabulous! We got our tickets 30before the show started and were able to get the second row, which was perfect. The dances are beautiful and the audience gets to interact for some parts. And at the end we were allowed to take pictures with the dancers. Costs about $15,000 CLP, which is... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the Kari Kari show. I had the misconception that it was a ballet performance and not a traditional Polynesian performance but was happy to see that was not the case. The dancers were all great and engaged the packed house throughout the hour long performance. We were there in the off season so I wasn't expecting it... More

This is a show of local music, song and dance, with plenty of humor which was a lot of fun. The venue is quite small, so arrive early to be sure of a good seat. There is a small, reasonably priced bar and dinner package are available. The show cost around $15 and lasted just over an hour.

The show started, after we were given flowers for our hair, with fast, loud music, with men shaking their hips just as quickly as the women. They all had huge smiles on their faces and I really enjoyed seeing how proud of their culture they are, and how they want to share it with visitors. Each advanced ballerina had a... More

I came across this show just because a friend of mine informed me a few hours before and I was very lucky getting the last seat in the first row. The dancers are very good and the ballet itself is very very nice. The prices at the bar are expensive, however the show is really worth a visit!

If you let them put war paint on you when you first come in, they expect you to go on stage and dance with them. Really fun.

We were recommended to see the Kari Kari cultural show by the owner of our hotel, though there are other shows available we decided to follow this recommendation and were very pleased with this choice! We paid 40,000 pesos which included a 3 course meal and a drink as well as the show.We sat in the nicely decorated garden to... More
