A nice town with a superb beach. The wind makes it a great location for sailing and sand sailing. Very handy for the ferries and if on a booze cruise, good place for a meal before returning.

We visited in February and we were delighted to see horses and riders cantering down the beach...looked like a TV commercial with such a lovely backdrop of the rolling waves on the sea.

It was a cold, wet blustery day at beginning of November when we stopped here for the afternoon. It’s a lovely walk along the promenade with a few bars and a great view across to England. Lots of windsurfer and people walking along the beach. Would be a lovely place to visit in summer.

This is a really lovely seaside village not far from Calais. This section of coastline tends to be ignored as Brits rush either from or to the ferry or Tunnel. Huge expanse of beach and wide promenade. We stayed overnight at the Camping Car Aire before a ferry the next day. There was an evening Market in the village Square which added to the ambience. Had an evening walk along the promenade with amazing sunset views. Would definitely recommend.
