My boyfriend and I had an amazing time visiting the surf camp/ apartments. It's super close to the beach and the lagoons are beautiful. Julie, the host, is great! Lots of nice restaurants in walking distance. Perfect for everyone who is looking for a laid back holiday. Definitely recommend. We'll be back.

I've already spent time at Starsurf Camps in Moliets and Carcans and was always really pleased with the organisation especially the surf lessons regarding safety, fun and teaching motivation.

This time I went to Starsurf in Fuerte and even though I already arrived with quiet high exspectations they even managed to exceed all of them:

The crew is so fun and easy-going.

The surf instructors (Kewin and Iwan, accompanied by delicious italian Michi ;)) were skilled, fun, gave clear and good instructions, were never to tired of sharing one more tipp and  I think they even came with webbed fingers and toes ;)...

They didn't put me on the white-wash-beginner's-beach even though I was the only intermediate in this low season time; I got to have private lessons on the green waves without having to pay more money.

The yoga schedule was offering 2-3 classes per day in wide variations and were led by sweet russian Anastasiia with a spiritual glow of light and life's adventures in here eyes. She as well did not act coyly to also teach small classes and tried to find and fullfill people's individual needs.

Julie the hostess with the mostess a.k.a. camp manager was able to get me into the camp even though I made my reservation very last minute before arriving. She was a reliable center for information during the whole week, always available and never to busy to make sure everyone was happy and got the best out of there holiday.

The surfhouse appartment became a second home: Perfect location, pretty views and equiped with all you need. It created a balanced place between doing your own thing and sharing time, food and jokes around the balcony table with others.

I came by myself and that way got some nice company along the way and was still able to enjoy some alone-time.

Besides Fuerte beeing an amazing island with the nicest beaches I've ever seen anywhere in the world, this Starsurf Camp was my favorite (so far ;)) and made my holiday - once again - great.

A big thank you to the whole crew!

Second time here in Fuerteventura and will definietly come back. The apartment is located in lower Cotillo, nice and clean and we had a room with ocean view which is always a bonus. our Hostess Julie is an angel, very attentive. We were lucky to have nice weather and good conditions to surf. It's still pre season the villa was quiet during our stay, fortunately we meet some really good people here
Our surf instructors Kevin and Ivan helped us a lot to improve our skills, thank you again!! Overall, highly recommended!!!!!

I travelled on my own and i did not feel alone anyhow. The place is beautiful and calmy just beside the sea and a few minutes walking from the magical village of el cotillo. I spent lovely holidays in star surf house. Plently of activities (not only surf but yoga, dinners and excursions). Will be back for sure!

We have taken around 30 surf lessons around the globe with many instructors. We crossed Europe to come here with the motivation to improve our skills. In this camp, there are three instructors with opposite teaching talents. The first two are bad at it. They do not care and do not want to get wet. We did not learn anything, were frustrated and the worst: we felt they took us for fools. They stayed on the beach talking to each other while we were "surfing" in short break waist-high water.

On the opposite of the spectrum, there's an excellent one from Argentina (thanks Seba!). He cared, gave fantastic advice, and was super friendly. That resulted in 2 perfect sessions in the Punta Blanca spot. However, that is out of 5, so this is unacceptable.

If you happen to have some surf experience, avoid at all cost. They will try to scare you by telling you the Punta Blanca spot is dangerous, that you need to paddle for 3h and so on (you need to get wet on this one). First, if you are lucky enough to spend 1h30 in the water, you'll be privileged, and there is nothing hazardous once you understand that you need to fall on your back (shallow water). Except for that, you can take super long rights. For complete beginners, why not, but we would not recommend this camp to our friends.

Fortunately, the yoga instructor was fantastic, and the atmosphere in the camp was excellent, thanks to the friendly staff (Julie and her colleagues).

The organization is really well done with breakfast and dinner all together to meet everyone from the surf camp. There are many side-activities like yoga and massages that you can book after the surf lesson to relax and better enjoy your time there

I took a first surfing lesson with Star Surf school. Our instructor Adriana was fantastic! She has a lot of energy and motivates you to stand up and catch the waves. She started the class with theory which was very helpful. In between the class there was a break and we got drinks and some fruit. My boyfriend had already surfed before and Andrea had some good tips for him.
El Cotillo is a beautful village with good beached and a relaxed atmosphere. I hope to come back some day!!
