Had a walk to the lighthouse from El Cotillo (about 3 miles). Nice walk and views, despite the wind, but unfortunately the cafe is now permanently closed.

The museum is worth the drive but is not always open, check first. Good views of the sea from there but take awindproof jacket, it has been very windy every time we have been there.

I set myself the challenge to walk from El Cotillo to the lighthouse each holiday, need to wear sun block though! burnt my shoulders last trip, it's a lovely walk along the seashore or you can take the car and park up there.

At the top of the island, this is where the weather goes a bit odd - was scorching in Jandia same day, massive waves and a bit cloudy in La Olivia. Not much else up there. The museum is a bit limited. Better places to...More

We drove here to check out the lighthouse but the museum was closed. Closed Sunday & Monday. The little cafe was open so we had coffees and a chocolate bar, no cakes ☹️. Friendly lady made our coffees and was quite busy serving others that...More
