Beautiful golden sand beaches and clear blue sea with a shallow lagoon at high tide. The main Concha beach is naturally protected by rocks so feels safer than the main beaches when it is a bit rough. It would have been perfect but for the numerous naked people who seem to insist on walking close by us and standing nearby. Considering, due to Covid, people are supposed to be social distancing, they were unsocial and far too close for my liking! Since Fuerteventura seem allow naked sunbathing everywhere we can't seem to get away from them, and it has almost put us off returning here after previous visits. I don't mind if they keep themselves to themselves, but they don't, and seem to relish in coming by clothed people and standing close by for what seems like a long period of time.

A beautiful scenic beach with white sand and coral coves easy to find and good parking let down by not so good beach bar and few public toilet facilities

Great spot for calm, warm waters. Make sure you check the tide charts to take advantage of the high tides. Friendly waters for families, and romantic for couples snuggled up in one of the rock circles. There is a Chiringuito on the beach (never tried), we are addicted to Azzurro right across the street!!

Paradise! Beautiful sandy beaches, stunning scenery lapped by a cool sea and a refreshing wind. Always a great day out at El Cotillo, we cannot visit the island without driving out here. Plenty of people about but never crowded - we can’t wait to return!
