I booked the guided tour using a Groupon but to be honest we would have been very happy to pay the full price ... well worth it. It’s a Bodega tour, not vineyard, so no yomping through greenery but so interesting. We all learnt something new whilst we were shown every step of the wine making process and the aroma room was an interesting touch. We did the tour that included tasting of 6 different wines and tapas of jamón and cheese and nibbles. Absolutely no pressure to buy afterwards but we did because we found a couple of wines we really liked. Our guide, Marián, was an absolute delight .., knowledgeable and friendly and paced the visit just right - about 2 hours in total. Thoroughly recommended.

This is the 3rd time I have been to Bodegas Silvano Garcia and this was the best visit yet. The first time was several years ago and the tour and tasting was good. The 2nd time I just stopped by and bought some of their wine without a tour. This time I signed up for the aroma tour along with the tasting for 8E each. It was fantastic. I've been on a tour to 6 different bodegas in Jumilla and wineries in France, Italy, Germany, Canada, and the US where I live but I have never had an opportunity like this to experience the aroma aspect of wine. We all know that wines have aromas and flavors but for the average drinker they are hard to identify. Bodegas Silvano Garcia has an aroma room that contains 40 different aromas that can be found in some wines. Over 30 of the aromas were positive aromas that you would like to find in a glass of wine but they also had bad aromas that you don't want to have like "the wine is corked". Each aroma is in a large plastic tube that is activated when you turn the paddle. Smelling each of the containers is a great way to learn about the aromas and being able to identify them in wine. If you are the kind of person who swirls your wine to open up the aromas and then smells the wine before you drink it, this is the best learning tool I have ever been exposed to. As for the tasting, the wine was all good and you could choose which 4 wines you wanted to taste and there was a large assortment of food to accompany the wine. It was a fantastic experience that I will go back to again.

Tried to book a tour in English by email but Andrés responded to explain that they needed 4 people to supply this but we would be welcome to visit to try the wines, which we did. There are useful and informative information boards displayed and we were greeted and presented with a range of about 10 wines to try. We agreed with the recommendations offered and purchased some at very reasonable prices. A very enjoyable experience with great service.

We visited as part of the Archena Spa package - easily arranged No problems to find (only bodega in town itself) Very nice young lady gave the tour (she was worried about her English but had no need to be!) Very informative and of course the tasting was welcomed! Recommended

We enjoyed the tour of this bodega, especially the tasting but it's worth noting that it's much more expensive in English than in Spanish (€15 as opposed to €7). Staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the wines on offer.
