As well as the gorgeous hand-woven rugs, there are other things on sale made by local craftsmen and women. Jams, liqueurs (I think), mountain herbs to make tea... We bought some modern dishes, easily transportable, glowing with colour, as presents for friends back home.

This was an interesting workshop to visit. Not only did I get to see the rug artist work the loom but the shop was packed with rugs and local folk art.
