Wish I brought my sneakers so we could do this in more of a fast pace but managed to do the 2.5km in flip flops. Nice and peaceful and lots of tracks which are well maintained and cared for. Will go back again.

Definitely worth the walk to the bottom of the falls to view the fantastic scenery. Although it may be worthwhile stopping at the park for lunch before heading up to the car park.

We hiked up to falls in Kondalilla national park recently as part of our drive around Australia. The park itself is small but quite beautiful, well protected rainforest with lots of birds and frogs and good hiking trails. The falls is wonderful to hike too, surrounded by huge trees, it gives a really calming feel to the whole area. The... More

A small stream tumbles over some rocks- hardly the roaring falls we were expecting. Luckily just a short walk from the car pack.

The drive from the coast to the falls on a rainy day was part of the enjoyment. Very steep hills, lots of bends. The walk is on well formed paths for most of the way & the pools at the top are worth a stop - even if only to get a sense of where & how the falls start.... More

We went to the Kondalilla Falls with 2 young boys, 5 and 2 years. We managed to talk a slow walk all the way to the rock pools and back. Not the easiest walk to do with kids, but we moved slowly and enjoyed the beauty of the place.

The waterfall is about a 2-hour trip however if you have less time i recommend Obi Obi Creek. Its a tiny little area only 15 mins drive from Montville. In the winter it's beautiful. Take picnic food and a bottle of wine and lay next to the Obi Obi creek, by the old wooden one way bridge and there is... More

The 4.7 km walk to the falls was beautiful and definitely doable for a 64 year old who doesn't hike! It was a peaceful and interesting walk. At each turn the falls became more beautiful. The rock pools are an inviting place to swim after the hike. Being winter, it was too cool for me but that didn't stop others.

This is not a real easy walk but it's not going to kill you either.Take some water. When you come to the crossroad at the rockpool point, decide if you are going to do the full walk around and descend to the bottom of the falls. If you are, stick to the right side and walk down the stairs because when... More

Great spot however did take the caravan and no parking really available definitely leave it at home next time due to the small car park area but well worth the drive and adventure.
