From the beginning of the walk, you will arrive at the rock pool first and you will have the option of choosing to continue to complete the waterfall circuit, which will take you to the base of the falls and loop back up to the rock pools. Go straight to the rock pools if you want to swim/see water if... More

Free parking and picnic area. Take study shoes because the paths are quite tricky and narrow in places.

Impressive falls if there was water flowing. A pretty easy walk. A couple of inclines but well maintained. A good vantage point of the falls for photos. We didn't go to the bottom due to there being no water, but we did swim in the top pool, which was very refreshing after a hot walk (30degreesC). It did have a... More

...be aware that the walks down to the rockpools or the base of the waterfall are fairly strenuous when you return back up to the car park, and the minimum walk is about 1.2 kilometres. In the sun, that's a long way - and all that splashing about cooling off in the rockpools might just be wasted by the time... More

The walk down was fairly easy, getting back up not so much. The water was cool but not freezing. The waterfall wasn't flowing very much but it was still pretty. Quite a lot of visitors so be prepared to picnic close to everyone.

Enjoyed a bbq lunch in beautiful surroundings. Went for a swim in the plunge pool. Enjoyed a walk on a hot day in cool forest. Magnificent views. Worth the effort.

Did the full 4.8km Kondalilla falls circuit with the family on Australia day. Not much flowing water in the falls but plenty of great scenery and good photo opportunities. Make sure you take something to swim in as the rock pools are amazing. The full circuit will take you between 1.5 and 2 hours if you are reasonably fit, but... More
