Nu is vorstelijk overnachten binnen ieders bereik.

The caste has medieval origins, you only see that in an upon the tower which is accessible with a guide only. The collection of painting representing many people that have been of importance for the Netherland's history is impressive.

This castle is amazing from the outside. A black swan and ducks were swimming in the moat. The inside is very basic and not really worth paying the 12 euro entrance for seeing it but worth paying for the upkeep of the castle. The cafe...More

Nice castle with several buildings. Friendly service on the terrace. The buildings are very well maintained. Compliments. Guided tour is too expensive.

This castle has a very interesting history. Burnt down more than once, used for timber production and having the building go to ruins and finally in the hands of a textile plants owner restored to a family home with an eclectic art collection. There are...More

Here you take step back in time and ask your self how long it's been kept in the family for such a long time. This castle is also an ideal wedding location, with a superb restaurant to have a lovely lunch.

Huis Bergh in 's-Heereberg along the Dutch-German border is a gem that many visitors to the Netherlands miss. Interestingly, when I mentioned it to my many Dutch friends, only a few of them know about it. I visited the old Dutch castle-manor house with two...More
