It is only a 20 minute ride one way but the views are beautiful and all from comfortable carriages! There are carriages set out especially for those wishing to have afternoon tea - what a... More

We made a return visit to the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway last week and enjoyed a round trip behind Beatrice with a break for Lunch at the tea rooms at Bolton Abbey station. The railway is very friendly with uniformed volunteers carrying out the traditional roles. I was a little surprised to see the railway not using the section... More

Had a lovely time on the train, my 2 year old daughter has been asking to go on a train for ages and we thought this would be perfect for her. She loved it, and the miniature train at the Bolton Abbey station. Will definitely visit again.

An attraction not to be missed. This small heritage railway is well worth a visit. The railway is great fun with strawberry and cream carriages from the 60s

This is a good railway line that is set within the Yorkshire Dales, the journey is very scenic with open views of the countryside that go as far as the eye can see.

We booked an peppa pig event for a family of 4 for our girls 3rd they loved every thing about it. Going on a proper steam train and meeting peppa pig. It was busy even on a wet day so you need to turn up in good time and find a seat before you miss out and have to wait... More

Look, if you think the EBASR will be like the North York Moors Railway, think again. The Worth Valley? Er No. But this is a lovely little line run by keen volunteers and at £10 return everybody should support. It was Bank Holiday Easter Monday and PP was very popular with the children. I had to ask who the pink... More
