We had a great time! This isn't for very young children. But it was so much fun for parents, and middle schoolers. We didn't get out of the room, but we'd love to try again, and do another room.

We did this last night before our office's holiday dinner, as a team-building activity, and it was really fun. We were split into three groups, and our group was assigned to the Vampire room. I had never done an escape room before, but I like...More

My partner and I are both a manager and gamemaster for a company in another state. We visited Busch Gardens for the Thanksgiving holiday and on Saturday drove to Richmond to try our hand at what would be one of the most different escape rooms...More

I’ve been to Ravenchase many times. I love their rooms because the aesthetic is the best I’ve ever seen! I did Vanity today solo and actually made it out with seconds left! The staff helped me where it was needed and they were ultra friendly!...More

Where do I start... I thought we were let into our room a half hour after our reservation but the owner assures me it was only 20 minutes. The rooms were tiny, hot and dirty. The props had obviously been ripped off the walls and...More

We had so much fun solving the Jewel of the James. Awesome staff and props made for an entertaining adventure. Bill was quite a character. I picked this as a team building event and my boss said excellent choice. We will be back!

We've done 60+ escape rooms, and Vanity at Escape Room RVA ranks close to the worst. The narrative was completely incoherent, and many (most?) of the puzzles felt disjointed and arbitrary. (Why would we sequence these symbols in this order? Why would we start counting...More

Dear Storberc, Certainly sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your experience. I've played several hundred rooms all over the world, and I think Vanity is a pretty good room with a narrative that is complex but not overly so. We've had lots of very experienced...More

Most of the rooms are fairly large. 15x20 or larger. With that said, you always have a option to exit out the way you came in

In our group, we had a bunch of teenagers who totally enjoyed the experience. I would say anyone younger than 12 probably would not enjoy it since you do work together with strangers to use clues to try to solve the puzzle... More
