A visit to Belur math is must. Ramakrishna math with life of Vivekananda in a well organised museum is worth the visit. The architecture of the temple, the peace inside the temple till it opens, the geometrical garden, the book store and even the shoe racks are esthetically designed. Photography not allowed in many places. Inside the temple, they allow... More

The math premises is well maintained and the prayer hall is huge and spic and span. Photography is not allowed and the river bank adjacent to the mutt makes the location simply superb.

Also the campus is very huge and beside hooghly river. You can take a ferry to dakshineswar kali temple from just outside Belur math. Campus is very big and scenic. Feel the inner... More

The place is easily accessible, and is a hotspot of Ramkrishna Mission activities. The place is located on the banks of Hoogly river which gives it a scenic advantage. Must visit in Kolkata.
