Beautiful Place for people with a good taste for Spiritual interests . Located nicely on the bank of Hoogly/Ganga River. After visiting this its always good to take ride to Howrah stop to take bus/taxi and enjoyment for a boat ride on the majestic Ganga!!!

A must check in place near by kolkata.My suggestions to cover it with dakhnieshwar kali temple.take a boat ride on river Ganga from dakhnieshwar to reach Belur. You can get the "bhog" (lunch) here. This place has wonderful flowers collection and garden.although photographs not allowed here but I personally think one should must capture this architectural beauty.A must must must... More

Whenever I visited this place I felt mesmerising. My soul get something here which is speechless experience. Soul dances when n number of people including monks start evening Aarti together. I want to have frequent visits. Good ambience. Lovely maintenance if garden and temples Excellent cleanliness. A must visit when u r in kolkata.

We took the river cruises to the shrine. Along the way you can inspect the state of desolation Kolkata is in. The way to the shrine from the pier isn't much nicer and leads through a small, pretty run-down streets. The shrine itself is nicely built, combining aspects from different religions. I visited Belurmath with my family when we came to Kolkata.It is located beside the Hooghly river.The scene of the river was mesmerizing from the Belurmath .In Belurmath there was many place to visit like Sri Ramakrishna temple,Vivekanda Temple,Ramkrishna Museum.In Museum many things of the Ramakrishna was stored like clothes,Shoes and many more.Oveall it was a great experience to visit...
