If you have any mobility problems forget it,it is a beautiful area and the riverside walks are excellent,but access to the chateau is very steep,and you need to be reasonably fit.

Much improved access, but it's quite a climb to reach the top. Very dramatic among the trees. Worth going back and seeing the views in autumn

Went here with the family, beautiful place really peaceful take a packed ouch lots of picnic places along the river side. You can go for a lovely walk along the river bank after you have walked up the hillside 🤗

Bit of a hilly climb but if you like historical ruins it's worth it, this is full of history. It would help if you did a bit of research before.
