I loved this attraction as it was so humbling as you realised how many people lost their lives keeping us free to live our lives the way we do now the attraction is also very well kept and well presented

The largest memorial to British and commonwealth, French soldiers in the world, breath taking reminder to the sacrifice of humanity for freedom. A must see for visitors to the somme region. Also has a good museum and gift shop.

The Thiepval Memorial is the largest memorial built by the British. It is staggering to see the names of some 72,000 soldiers who's bodies were never found.

Don't use Google maps for last mile of directions. It gets you there, but it takes you across a field.
