Entrance fee is 25 pesos per person. Fine white sand beach. There were many people on a Sunday afternoon. Even after walking a few 100 meters, the water is only knee high. The place was a little crowded but it was a good beach for family outings. You can bring your food and drinks. You can rent a hut. Long lines in the shower and dressing rooms.

We were at the beach for a week, but didn’t manage to swim even once. There are a lot of hedgehogs, even if you walk ankle-deep, you have to maneuver between colonies. The water leaves at 5 am and comes in at 11 pm. Walk knee-deep, 100 meters from the shore, you can swim there, touching hedgehogs and stones with your knees. Next comes a raised part with grass, where you can’t see what’s hiding there at all. I was convinced to walk or swim through this grass to get to the depths and see the coral reef. I swam with a mask at my own risk, touching the stones with my feet, until a poisonous snake crawled out of the grass to meet me. It’s good that I was swimming and not walking, otherwise I would have stepped on it. Conclusion: the beach is not for swimming; at low tide it is ugly and dirty. There is no infrastructure at all, I don’t recommend stopping, at the same low tides we went swimming at Alona Beach, it was waist-deep there and we didn’t find any snakes.

The beach was okay but it cost 100 pesos to enter and there were lots of people who were loud everywhere.
The restaurant was expensive and the staff uninterested in selling food.
The food was bad, both fish and meat dishes.
It was sad to see that the beach was so ruined compared to 2 years ago when we were there last.
Unfortunately will not come back there again.

June 2023 - Nice beach (cleaned several times a day in areas of BBC Resort and South Palms Resort). You can use the beach in front of resorts but security will keep you away from beach loungers, beds , and swings. Some good beginner snorkeling right off the beach, at high tide most of beach has sandy bottom and shallow entry - at low tide good to explore the seagrass and rocks . We stayed at South Palms two weeks - enjoyed every minute.

Dumaluan beach is gorgeous! With its beautiful waters and less crowded stretch of beach, it really is worth going to. We spent 2 days here out of 5 days we stayed in Panglao. A great relaxing beach best for lounging and sunbathing, good for a swim as well. This is where bohol beach club is. A highly recommended beach to wind down after a night of partying in Alona beach!

Beautiful, well maintained beach. It's a little hard to access as much of it is privately owned but you can enter at Dumaluan Beach Resort for 25P per person. Much nicer then Alona beach

For only P25.00 entrance fee, you'll get to enjoy this beach beach. The sand is white and fine & the water is crystal clear. You can also rent a cottage for P300 - P600 only. There's also restaurants available when you get hungry.

Dumaluan Beach is less crowded than Alona Beach so if you want to visit a more relaxing place, go here. We visited in July which is a low-season so I can't really say if it's always uncrowded. The only time it got crowded was during their non-working holiday "Bohol Day" , a bunch of locals were there.
Location and Transpo - This is place is probably 5-8 mins away from Alona (by Motorcycle or Tricycle). Walk if you can but we didn't dare try. Usually the Tricycle drivers will ask for 150php (2pax) and Habal-Habals (Motorcycles) will ask for 30php/pax. If you can haggle, ask for a cheaper price! The lowest we paid for a tricycle ride is 80php. You can also ride the Jeepneys if you are willing to wait since Jeepneys are so uncommon in this place. (15mins-40mins of waiting time). A jeepney ride will only cost you 10php/pax/way.
Food - Go to Dumaluan Beach Resort, they have a food place there, order the Avocado shake. :D
I recommend to visit at around 7am-11am, when it's low tide. The water usually starts to rise at around 12nn.

This was a very nice beach, but the beach have not a lot of place to lay down on a blanket. But there are a lot of food places/bars to have an awesome time.
And I was happy with my water shoes because of all the dead coral.

When I first moved to Panglao, I lived about 5-10 minutes walk away from this beach. There are places where you have to pay to get in but there's an entrance beside Dubay Resort that's free. That's our spot (when no one's there first of course). It's a longer shoreline than Alona beach and cleaner. If you want total peace and quiet, go during the weekdays. On the weekends and holidays, it's full of people that consists mostly of locals. I still prefer swimming here than in Alona beach. If you've read this and plan to go visit Alona beach, Panglao or Bohol in general then give me a heads up. Would be a pleasure to show you around.

Two different people stated two different costs for the entrance fee. Could someone please confirm how much the entrance fee is as we will be a rather large group. Thanks in advance!
