If your in Cebu , just catch the ferry for about 2 hours and come to thus piece of paradise. Nearly as good as Boracay but cheaper and less crowded. I will be back there again soon.

White sand beaches in Panglao Island are truly awesome. Can't get enough of the white sands along Alona Beach Resort. So soft and so fine! You'll never get bored.

If you are staying near this beach it's worth a visit. Anything you want from dive shops to shops or food is right on the beach. If you are going to buy a tour here make sure you get a receipt for the terms of your agreement. We had a receipt and saved us money. You can get cheaper tours... More

I really like Alona beach even it is rather crowded nowadays - even at low season. Lots of restaurant with ok food (remember you are in Philippines now ), entertainment, some bars where you can have a drink, a coffee or just chill out.

A have heard very much of this place and a am little disappointed. Very much boats and you can not take a swim there. But if you pay 1000 pesos you can take a boat to Virgin island and there it's very good .

Beach is very similar to Boracay. In fact, if i'm not mistaken, I've observed that the sand in the sea is a little bit finer and softer than parts of Boracay. Just not many souvenir shops. And it has less than 10% of the crowd compared to Boracay making it ideal for those who want a quieter experience yet still... More

The beach is nice, with white sand and crystal green water. Staff from different hotels work hard to clean up their beach area, so overall it is clean. The main road down to the beach is in poor condition, narrow and big holes with dirty water. People and motorbike or Tu-tuk use the same road, it is hard to imagine... More
