Its a must go when in the area. It's a natural reserve very well kept natural. Take a guided tour early morning or in the evening, otherwise it 's too warm. The staff is very kind and will give you a lot of insight.

Lake Burano may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think Tuscany, but this little haven tucked at the southern end of the region should be on everyone's top list of must-see sights. Very nice bird sanctuary. Must go to visitor's center to access the park. Great for birdwatching and walking around the lake and all the way to the beaches.
