From first look outside it looks like ordinary fence with tower. But I was surprised how warm and welcoming staff is and how interesting is the exposition inside the tower.

Just in about 30 minutes drive from Vilnius you can get into medieval castle.
Medininkai castle was restored in 2012, but it still contains a lot of history. Its' exhibition is quite integrate and presents the role of this castle in overall country defense, medieval armors and people way of live.
Guided tour takes about 2 hours, while visit on yourself should take about an hour.
Take into account, that there are no cafes or restaurants nearby the place.

Castle is located in small polish-lithuanian village near Belarus border. Ticket costs about 1.8 euro (about 2 dollars). You can visit temporary display and exhibition on donjon (tower). There is 5 floors with different theme. First floor is modern paintings of old Lithuanian castles, second is armor and weapons (medieval), then there is a hunting trophees and panorama on top. Really impressing.

The castle lies in a small village of Medininkai, which doesn't have any restaurants or cafes. You can take your own sandwiches with you and eat them at the tables on the castle courtyard. The small keep has got four floors of exhibitions. They are not that big, but every floor is very different from each other, which makes it quite interesting. A viewing platform has been built on the roof, and from there you will get a good view of the countryside. The keep has a lift, so the visit is possible also with wheelchairs and baby strollers.

The medieval spirit is all over the place. Although the museum inside is not big, it has many exhibits. The panoramic view from the last floor is also not typical.
