The hike up to the extinct volcano is not that high (3km), but with some quite steep parts that can make you breathless if you go too fast. The view from the top is pretty nice, however, the best part is to go around the...More

We had a great time hikng around the circumference. It was partly steep, but absolutly worth it. We had a guide with us, but would have done fine on our own.

Registration and payment were a bit on the chaotic side. Some parts of the mountain are quite steep and will challenge you on your way up and especially as you try to get down. If you choose not to walk around the crater, there is...More

Trainers will suffice. However, if you circumvent the crater, be aware that you will likely have to stop several times to empty bits of gravel out of them... The loose gravel gets kicked up easily!
