Wonderful to be able to get out of the car and hop on a boat with a few others and motor down a loch! Nice way to see the landscape in the area, as well as some Golden Eagles, Red deer, and get a history lesson and info about the local trees to boot! Thoroughly enjoyed this experience!

This morning cruise is timed well so you can watch the Jacobite Steam Train cross the impressive Glenfinnan Viaduct, a sight you will always remember. The cruise then carries on with spectacular views of the Loch and surrounding area. The captain provides a wealth of information and if you are lucky you will be able to see the eagles who... More

This is one of the best boat trips. The captain Jim is the salt of the earth. One of the nicest and most genuine men you could wish to meet. Very knowledgeable on the area, very passionate and clearly loves his work. A beautiful unspoilt loch. We saw golden eagles and red dear. A very well priced and memorable day.... More

Great experience. It can be cold on the boat and although blankets are provided, wear warm clothes. Very well looked after and time taken to explain and point out any wildlife.

This was a real highlight of our weeks holiday ! I had heard of Jim from an old friend,Allan MacDonald, who described him as a star and a real gentleman and he was right! Such abundant knowledge, a lovely courteous manner and so welcoming to us with a small baby. The highlight was seeing an osprey which Jim said was... More

The weather was not brilliant when we went to board the boat and we were the only two there. However Jim was still determined to take us out. Luckily the weather improved and we had great visibility. Jim's knowledge of the area, the geology, the wildlife and much more was astounding. He made it a very enjoyable and worthwhile couple... More

A trip aboard the MV Sileas on gorgeous Loch Shiel, with Jim Michie at the helm, is the absolute best way to immerse yourself in this gorgeous part of Scotland and get a taste of its history. My two friends and I decided we wanted to do the full 2.5 hour tour. When we showed up in advance of the... More
