Great experience, very good to do with kids. You get a good history of the origin of the chocolate factory and a try at making a chocolate. Very learning and good experience for adults and kids.

You get to touch and see the components in making chocolate and a taste of the chocolate made during the showing of how to make different chocolates filled and bars.

Definitely a visit worth. (Visited 2 adults and 2 kids (6y &4y)

We stumbled across this delightful chocolatier and shop on a round-about drive toward Venice from Trieste. The shop keeper was generous with samples of chocolates, spreadables (pistacchio, hazelnut-chocolate, dark, etc,), hot chocolate (nothing compares to Italian-style hot chocolate!), and also local grappas and liquores. There were also tasty options made with stevia for those on our gift list who need to avoid sugar. This was a tasty detour!

During a foggy morning in October we tied our “Le Boat” to a dock to wait out the weather. It turned out to be the best “non-decision” of our trip, because we had a lovely and memorable visit with the brothers who own this lovely gem of a business - they make beautiful chocolate, spreads of all sorts (try the pistachio), and liquors - try the chocolate and the grappas. Thank you for the best morning possible!
This review is rather late - but we have not forgotten you!

The visit to Cioccolateria Veneziana has been amazing. Located in a very calm area, reachable by public transportation from Venezia Mestre Train Station, this small family business is an inspiration for everyone who appreciates the things done fully heartedly. One of the family members have us the tour and it was so natural and passionately, with generosity in samples of chocolate products and help or pieces of advice. Definitely worth it!

We booked this tour during our recent trip to italy we were staying Ca ' Savio and it was a great experience to learn about chocolate and how it is made, the owners were excellent tour guides and very friendly to the kids, giving us icecream on a very hot day.
I would recommend this trip to anyone how is in the area of venice or tries to or surrounding areas.

Cioccolateria Veneziana just Northeast of Venice, is a family owned shop and production kitchen specializing in bars, spreads, dragees (cordials), and liquors. One of the brothers let us have dozens of samples. They know where their beans come from, avoid palm oil, and use local lemons and nuts. We were amazed at the selection! Our host also gave us great tips on local travel. Plan on at least 30 minutes here- you will remember it fondly.

We visited this amazing chocolate shop and factory. We were lucky enough to meet the wonderful owner who allowed us to try all sorts of different chocolates (there are top quality chocolates from all over the world), the excellent spreads (and got to try their new tiramisu flavour!!) and grappa style drinks (superb!).

The highlight was a tour of the factory by he owner and explanation of how the different chocolates are made - a highly professional artisan with a great understanding of different flavours. Chocolate is poured into moulds and then different toppings are added (the pistachio and almond is incredible !).

Our children were enchanted with the different shapes and flavours and the owner made them feel very welcome.

We will certainly be returning. They plan to extend their shop to include food and cakes. The setting by the river is wonderful and thank you again for the fantastic customer experience - a real highlight of our visit to Italy! Grazie Mille!

Down a windy country road along the river you'll find a quaint little chocolate factory run by a friendly, loving family. We were there in time to get some Easter treats/gifts and were not disappointed! The price is very reasonable and the chocolate is made with love. We will definitely be returning in the future for any sweet treats we need (our home is about 50min from the factory).
