We hate nothing more than a day sailing on an overcrowded boat with nowhere to sit and no space to move, queuing endlessly for drinks etc. This trip with Tudor Dawn Sailing Charters was exactly NOT that.
We joined ‘Tina’ this morning and what a superb day we had, sailing from Port de Pollenca to Formentor with stops off on the way for swimming’s snorkelling and paddle boarding. The scenery was simply stunning and the banter with the owner along the way was very entertaining. We really enjoyed it, the lunch was great with a selection of cheeses, olives, hams, tomatoes, fresh breads and more. Chilled beers and copious amounts of wine included. What more can you ask for.
My wife and I thoroughly recommend this day out as one of the most enjoyable we’ve experienced and we’ve done many across the globe. Really relaxing and stress free and if you do decide to do this trip you won’t regret it. Thanks Lee and we look forward to doing this again soon.

We have been visiting Pollenca for a few years, but never hired a boat before. My family were initially sceptical at my suggestion to book the trip due to us having young children. I booked a half day private charter that included unlimited free water, soft drinks, beer and wine alongside a buffet lunch, exclusive use of the boat, snorkelling equipment and paddle board. Leigh was an excellent host particularly tolerant of our three children asking non-stop questions, rummaging through every aspect of the boat and initially being unconfident when entering the water. At the end of the holiday everyone agreed this was the highlight of the trip and we will definitely be booking again next year.

Our family of six had a fantastic sunset cruise aboard The Tina on the last night of our vacation. The Tina is a beautiful sail boat full of character and charm. The cruise was the perfect combination of sight seeing, swimming, snorkelling, great conversation and sunset chasing. We also enjoyed a lovely light dinner, wine, and other beverages. Leigh is a great host and provides his guest with excellent customer service. His communication from booking to departure was top notch. Highly recommend!

Great day spent with Leigh and Sebastian on board Tina. Great hosts, fab lunch, alcohol flowing, including a visiting cocktail boat. Lovely stop off points for jumping off the plank and snorkelling, sea was lovely and warm. Especially liked that they don’t have more than 12 on the trip and we were a party of 8. Brilliant day, highlight of our holiday, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time out on the water. The food and drinks provided were really nice. The boat is spacious. We had ample time to swim in the ocean, snorkel (we did see some fish!) and try out the 1 paddle board, which luckily other guests were good about sharing. I would say overall it is good quality for the cost. Leigh and Sebastian were our guides (it is no longer owned by the couple mentioned in older reviews). Be prepared to pay cash and communicate with Leigh on WhatsApp to confirm details of your trip.

From the start, ready communication and clear instructions where to meet the yacht. Great afternoon out from Port de Pollensa marina.
Captain Lee and skipper Seb were nice hosts.
There were only 10 of us on the yacht.
We had some fun jumping into the sea, snorkelling and paddle boarding and met some nice people
Beer wine and soft drinks provided along with a tasty light lunch.
Would definitely recommend.

Chartered the Tudor Dawn for a sunset sail. Simon and Susie were perfect hosts. Everyone enjoyed the day, kids got involved in hoisting the sails, fun time anchored with paddle boards, snorkelling and swimming followed by Tapas watching the sun set. Thoroughly recommended and we will be back next time in Majorca.

Yesterday, our two families totaling 10 people (4 parents and 6 teenagers) took a full-day sail with Simon and Susie around Mallorca. We had a lovely day and a wonderful experience. I had done a lot of research on TripAdvisor looking for sailing options and Tudor Dawn was the one with the best reviews, consistently. Everything went well from the first time I contacted Susie inquiring about the available options. Her answers were prompt and comprehensive. Her directions were clear and Simon met us as planned at 10:50 am at the pier. The sail was relaxing and enjoyed by all. We stopped at two different times in the bay (one before, and the other after, lunch) to get off the boat snorkel, paddle, swim and float at different areas along the island. We were never rushed. Lunch consisted of fresh baguette sandwiches, made to our specifications in case anyone had any food allergies, drinks (water, softdrinks, wine and beer) and fruit (melon and oranges). Drinks and water were available during the entire trip. The sail boat, which is very clean and very well maintained, has a bathroom on board, . There was enough room for the ten of us above deck with the ability to choose sun or shade. I have nothing negative to say about this tour and can only say positive things. If you are looking for a private sail around the bay, look no further. You will not be disappointed.

We were really looking forward to a sail again. Things started well. There was a good mix of people, we went out around the bay. Anchored up had a swim & a glass of wine & food. We then realised that Simon had no intention of putting up the sails and try to sail. It was not windy near the coast the route he followed but other boats were sailing across the bay. His wife was embarrassed, when he said I have put up 1 sail so I will not have to give you your money back, he hugged the coast all the way back into Porta Pollensa. We are going back to Majorca in May and will be sailing but not on The Tudor Dawn. Simon time to retire.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your sail with us due to lack of wind- when did you come sailing with us, I can't seem to find a booking for Michael Vernon unless you are Mike and Renate? Sometimes the bay has very flukey winds, Tudor Dawn is the only boat that ALWAYS sails if there is enough wind to do so. What you might have thought were boats sailing across the bay were probably drifting with their sails up at 1 knott. We need a minimum of 10 knotts to sail. We are a charter boat governed by time unlike holiday boats that have all day. From time to time when there is no wind we unfortunately have to motor - happily that is a rare occasion.

With my husband and daughter of 17 we have enjoyed the sunset trip enormously. Susie and Simon are wonderfully kind. They make you feel very welcome and create a lovely atmosphere. Susie’s tapas and the rosé and beer were delicious. We were lucky, the sunset was beautiful and made it all the more delightful.
