The area is quite smaller than the other Nature Park by playa de Muro but still it is really beautiful. It can be accessed by the back side of the Hotel Pollentia

We wouldn’t have looked at this but for the fact we had a cloudy day and that would have been a shame. It’s obviously looked after; the pathways are in good condition and easy to follow. We saw a shag and a moorhen as well...More

If this is the area in Porte de Pollenca town it is just off the sea front where there is water inlet. Walk away from the marina and before Tollos bar there is an inlet which the sea flows into. Turn down the street before...More

Someone, I presume the local authority, is continually improving the facilities on the reserve. Two viewing platforms have been built over the last couple of years and a new hide is just about to open. A great place for raptor watching - Marsh Harriers and...More

This is a Nature Park which can't be noticed from the road, there's an area mostly humid which is the place where several birds specimens use to nest. By the time we were in March there was a special time in which plover birds are...More

We saw quite a few birds, including an Osprey, Flamingo, some ducks and one of the Purple ones. Worth takings some binoculars and maybe a bike as it is pretty huge. The hide out by the power station is particularly good (on the brown route).

This was my first visit and to be honest i was disappointed with the lack of wildlife, maybe wrong time of day or wrong time of year. Its a relaxing place, very peaceful. Lots of crickets jumping about

A nice little reserve but not much about in the way of birds. I suspect this are is a lot better doing migration times.Lots of grasshoppers about.

The reserve stretches from the Torrent San Jordi in Porta Pollensa to Alcudia along the coast. There a a number of lagoons and small rivers that empty into Pollensa Bay and the area stretches a few miles inland, incorporating a diverse range of habitats. During...More
