Google maps finds this place nicely and leads exactly to the parking lot. The parking lot is quite large and from there you need to walk about 1 km to the viewing platform. The trail is marked and very easy to understand. Be sure to wear closed shoes, there is a part of the land to climb uphill, where there are sharp and large stones. There are also a few picnic tables by the viewing platform. The viewing platform is quite small, but up there you can still walk around and enjoy the views from another angle. Unfortunately, when we got there, it started to rain and the clouds were very low. So we couldn't enjoy the view. But the place itself seemed very powerful and fierce. It took us about 1-1.5 hours there.

A mini trek of 1km+ from parking to spectacular views of the Perucac lake and Bosnian side of the mountains.

Not much to do apart from the views and the trek but surely worth a visit.

Banjska Stena is one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. The blue water next to green hills is mesmerizing. There are 2 or 3 viewpoint close to each other. It is about 50 meters between each other. You have to walk 1 kilometer to the viewpoints. This is one the highlights in our days in Serbia.

You can go with car but road is really bad, full of holes on every step so u must go really slow. From places where you have to park your car you have to walk less than one kilometer, but it is definitely worth every effort. I recommend coming in the morning, when it’s not a big crowd and the platform is small, people linger a lot to take photos. Also, most people do not bother to go another 50m above this popular lookout point where you have another one, a little smaller and not so accessible, with even better view, also there is a telescope that you can look at the surroundings. There is also a bench to rest a bit before returning to the car park to pick up your car.

Great views after a pleasant walk through the forest from the parking lot. Can be quite crowded at times as the platform is pretty small

One of the best view! It is worth a visit. If you don't like to climb you drive all the way to the parking and then climb a bit. The climb is short and mild. The drive there is ok. Dirt road but fairly good. Once you reach the main view point, climb a bit further. It is worth it!

Banjska Stena is a one of the most beautiful lookouts located in the Tara National Park, one of the natural parks in Serbia. It is located close to the border with Bosnia and Hercegovina. Really, it has a lot of wonderful lookouts and one of this is Banjska Stena, from where you can see the Tara River, cliffs and mountains. Pitifully, we arrived here a too foggy day, so we could not see nothing! Oooh! we had to compare the the views of a real sunny day and this foggy day. We hope to return here (not in October) and see this charming views.
