We visited this place on 8th May, 2016. You need to buy the ticket for car entry and some other tickets for Rs. 65 at the counter located on the road, Then, one has to go at least 5 -6 kms inside the forest area...More

Its sad to see the plight of the animals in the zoo. There upkeep doesn't seem like anybody s priority.. Plus the area isn't well maintained.

With a setting like Sipahijhala - having a full fledged zoo within a dense forest area, it had so much potential. But Tripura tourism like most of its other attractions have no care for such places. It takes around an hour to get the tickets...More

It's a huge wild life sanctuary with animals healthy but living in poor conditions like their cages are not clean ,open area where they are kept is not well maintained & the stench of meat in their cages makes it difficult to look at them...More

Lots of greenery. ..a large patch of trees and shrubs on the way from agartala to udaipur...the zoo is quite far from the front gate..the road that leads to the zoo is like a walk in the forest...

sipahijala wild life sanctuary is located in between road Agartala- udaipur on NH 8. stay will not be a problem as sipahijala wildlife sanctuary has many jungle resorts n offers good accommodation and cuisine.. they got zoo which has rear animal species like clouded leopard....More

On way from Agartala to Tripursundari Temple, Sipahijala Wildlife Sanctuary is located in between. Known for clouded leopard, this sanctuary has five sections one each for carnivores, primates, ungulates, reptiles, and aviary.
