One of the best maintained golf courses, long and interesting, worth repeating many times. Can only suggest.

If you walk up to play golf, it is very expensive but when you package golf with the hotel, it is a great deal. The golf course (I played the Yellow and Red) was surprisingly good. The course was very long from the men's front tees (6600 yds) and the greens were reasonably fast and very smooth. I got a little tired of hitting drives and being left with 190+ to the green so the last couple of holes we moved up the "lady championship" tees and normal golf. Most people walked with pull carts. We got a buggy and it cost 30 euros which my associate and I split. All and all, it was time well spent.

1. We booked an apartment for 8 people for me and my family consisting of 7 adults and one baby.
We wrote when we booked that we would need a bed for the baby, and I called them too a week in advance to make sure the bed would be there.
When we came, they asked for 8 passports and obviously knew how many we would be - but in the apartment there were only 6 beds made up. We thought this was very weird, and tried to see if we could make the couch into a bed but it wasn’t possible. We called the reception who came with a baby bed and who took the pillows of the couch and but a blanket over it - and there was NO WAY possible for a person to sleep there. It was WAYYY too short. And apparently this couch should be for two people we were told???? I have no idea in what world two people would be able to sleep on that?
We called again to tell them it wasn’t possible to sleep on that couch for a normal adult person - and they told us they had no beds and had checked everywhere and it wasn’t able to get a bed …. SO unsatisfying since we had booked this in advance and they knew how many we would be!!
Next day, we went to the reception to ask about the bed again - and it was not until we spoke to a new woman that she understood we needed an extra bed and all of a sudden they did have one. We came up, and they had just thrown the bed outside the apartment so we had to drag it in and set it up in the livingroom. Very bad service!!
The apartment has 3 rooms and is NOT good for 8 people when they expect two people to sleep in the kitchen/livingroom.
2. There was only 6 chairs in the livingroom and 6 chairs on the balcony - so we had to ask for extra chairs too.
3. There was no clothes rack, so everything we washed we had to hang outside the balcony on chairs and and was very messy.
4. There was an old broom which we tried to use to clean up the apartment but it was full of small broken glass pieces (again, we had a one year old baby…. NOT good!!)
5. We had a cleaning lady come after a week, but as you can see on the pictures it was not very nicely done. Very much dirt in the conors and not very nice.
6. Service in the bar was very bad. Sometimes the bartender would just go away even though we were standing in line. When we said that something was missing in our order, they would argue instead of just listening and understand. They did not make us feel welcome.
7. Last, but not least - Our new BMW car got a huuuuge scratch with a car key on the side in the hotels parking basement. We were asked to just park on the sides, since they did not have enough parking spaces and someone scratched it. I know it hopefully was not the hotels fault, but very very very bad experience when they told us to park in basement..
We did talk to the reception manager about these things but they kept giving bad excuses like “but only 6 people stayd in the room before you therefore we only made it for 6 even though you were 8”. and got offered a free drink in the bar for all of this - which in my opinion does not make up for the very bad service and for the bad night we had when there wasn’t enough beds.
For a plus side - the pool and spa is nice and the surroundings are beautiful and clean. But the service is so bad I would not recommend this place.

Attention this specific appartament is rent out by a private owner. The bed is absolutely not confortable, very noisy in the night and the welcome was problematic and not nice at all.
I don't suggest you to rent by this owners "Appartamento golf san Vigilio ".
For the rest the golf is really nice and the structure is good.

Great Course for high handicapers, wide and extremely forgiving. It is impossible to loose a ball. Course in OK shape, fairways very good, putting very slow (take a driver to put) bunkers (not many though) you might have to buy a new wedge due to the stones in it. An experience not to go back. Again great course for beginners and high handicapers. You always get on never packed (no wonder). Course quality does not live up to the name. Restaurant very expensive.

This hotel is stunning with breathtaking views and amazing grounds. Most guests are golfers. We stayed here as a family with teenage children. The rooms were luxurious, the staff very helpful and accommodation spotless and tasteful.
There are two pools - which very beautiful (not heated) and very quiet.
Unfortunately if the weathers not great (and it often is rainy/stormy in August) then there really is nothing to do here.
Personally I don't think this is a good choice for families - especially with teenage children. It's perfect for a romantic break and there are lots of couples drinking champagne around the pool and having spa treatments.
The closest village/ town is a 20 minute taxi away (€40 ride one way) making going out for dinner pretty expensive.

We decided to explore some golf courses around Italy and my brother recommended this resort. We opted for an inclusive package and could play as much golf as we wanted, get a great breakfast and a four course dinner. The course provides 3 9 hole options and can be combined in any way. We managed to play a couple of tournaments as well as we brought our Australian golf handicap details. The course is reasonably easy with generous fairways and flat bunkers, however still a few chances to lose a ball in the water or hitting it out of bounds on parallel fairways. The course is very well maintained and the greens run true.
The staff are very friendly across the property. Gianandrea, Franziska in the golf reception are brilliant and Marco the waiter is very knowledgeable and has flair and finesse.
Great food for dinner and sitting on the terrace overlooking the course is just a delight. On the last night there was an excellent singer as well and together with a bottle of local wine and a grappa after dinner it formed a long lasting memory. We will be back!

For golf, 2 greenfees and a cart for 250€. No one else on golf. As a golf course operator, I know quite well the maintenance of the courses. Fairways are great. The greens are in bad shape, in dry places and dollarpot spots. Bunkers with hard, dry sand, even going there, our steps are not visible. Since there really are not many golfers, it is tempting for the operator to bludgeon those who play. The restaurant is very decent with good food and decent Awards. An expensive experience.
