    An exquisite experience
A quick tour of the barrel room and on to the tasting.... while I would have loved to see more of the grounds the wonderful host and excellent wines made up for it. The wines were complex and the ports delicious with the 10 year white being and exceptional surprise!!! ❤️

    Worth the drive
Not an easy place to get to by car, but well worth the trip when you get there! My wife and I went by car with our friend from Coimbra. Tried the rose and it was great. No time for an organized tour that day so we can’t evaluate that experience.

A must-do in the Douro Valley
This is a delightfully rustic location, with ultra-modern tasting facilities. Hugo provided us with a tutored tasting of a selection of estate-produced red and white wine, and white, tawny and vintage port. We also tasted olive oil produced in-house. The insights received into the wine itself, and its cultural significance and positioning was highly instructive. Even the winery's dog, Typhoon, was from central casting, and fit the bucolic character of the place perfectly.

Excellent wine tasting experience. We sampled five varieties as well as an olive oil tasting. Our group of six were in a very classy tasting room, thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the wine cave. A lovely family farm.

We had an amazing wine tasting at Quinta Seara d’Ordens. They showed us the property and explained how their wine is produced. In the end we tried different lovely wines and some olive oil. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I can only recommend it.

Really great intro into the production of wine and port in an amazing setting. Worth going for the views of the valley alone. The wines were great and our delivery arrived last week as a lovely reminder of the trip.

My family and I traveled to Quinta Seara d'Ordens as part of a tour of the Douro Valley. The experience was incredible. We tasted the ruby and tawny ports, olive oil and their orange jam--all were incredible. We purchased several bottles of the port, one bottle of olive oil and 3 of the orange jam. So that is a testament to the quality of their product. The staff were very hospitable, knowledgeable and provided not only insights into their products but the history of the area. This was a highlight of our tour of Portugal. You all should visit and enjoy the port and the breathtaking scenery.

This Quinta is amazing! We heard of it through the hostess of our AirBNB.

It is a bit off the National 222 so less visited, but it's really worth the trip.

We were kindly greeted by one of the young members of the family who run this winery. She took the time to explain the process of vinification of the Douro wines and port wines.

The views from up there are absolutely breathtaking, some of the best we have seen in the Douro Valley. Our guide walked us around and showed us some of their olive trees, which produce a divine olive oil (really worth it!)

And what about the tasting! We liked every single product that she made us try. Because of the custom regulations, we had to make some choices. Or else we would have bought much more bottles!

There are numerous Quintas in the Douro Valley, many of them are more commercial and do mass production.

This Quinta really stands out, we see that this family cares about what they do.

We strongly recommend you to encourage this smaller producer who offers quality wines.

It's hard to believe that these types of wineries still exist. We had no idea what to expect until Paolo from Duoro First brought us here for our first wine/port tasting. It's blew our expectations at all levels. The service, the hospitality, the knowledge, the beauty and to top it all...GREAT wine, Fantastic PORT, beautiful varieties of nuts from their property, and tasty olive oil. This family has owned this winery for generations and hearing about the history makes you want to support them even more. We finally just got our case of wine/port delivered (almost 2 months but well worth the wait). We bought some of the nuts and these are one of the best we have had. Thank you Paulo for showing us your friends homes to us and sharing all the best that Duoro has to offer. We will return.

Phoned at the last minute the owners were super accommodating very friendly. Showed us around explained the ports and wines they produced (grapes, ageing, etc). Tasting at €10 p/p (2 people tasted). I did expect not to be charged for tasting after buying 30 bottles wine and 1 port.

My wife (who is Portuguese) and I arrived on July 31st, and after an amazing ride up to the Quinta, we had a fantastic tour and tasting given by Lucia. Such a nice person, who speaks English very well. We learned a great deal from her about wines. I am not an expert by any means when it comes to wines, but I have tasted a few 10 year old Tawny Ports, and thus far, their 10 Anos Tawny is one of the best I have ever tasted, and their Ruby Port is very smooth. Their Red and White wines are good as well. Also, they make extra virgin olive oil. We loved it there, such a nice place. We will be back!!
