We leave the city and head towards the cost road north of Barcelona. We ride for approx 45 mins and stop for a coffee & pastry in the coastal village of Sant Pol de Mar to have breakfast by the sea. We then continue our journey to Tossa de Mar to visit the castle. We take the "GI 682" coastal road which offers a twisting road with spectacular views , this road is featured in many guides as one of the best roads in Europe. We get to see on the best coastal roads in Europe and stop in the coastal towns and villages along the way which all different but equally charming. Lunch is in the fishing village of Palamos where freshly caught fish is available on the menu of the local restaurant but also they offer a variety of fresh local products.

FULL RANGE OF TOUR AND MOTORCYCLES AT OUR WEBSITE

This place is something a wee bit different. It is the bar attached to the toy museum. Big cocktail menu and selection of gins. Also has a well in the middle of the floor dating back to the 14th or 15th century.

Nice historical toys, the kids enjoyed them with the surprises. The history of the building and the Rambla is also a good experience

We enjoyed visiting this museum as it clearly shows the development of toys over time. It is housed in a very interesting building and is accessible from the Ramblas. There is a very good 'horror room' upstairs in which you enter by one door and then have to find the correct door to leave - the other doors contain surprises. I was surprised to see some of the toys I had as a child - perhaps I should not have been surprised!

My wife took our 12,11,10 and 5 year old children to the Museu during our visit in June 2015. It was an activity to keep them occupied but honestly, they much more enjoyed playing on the Rambla and visiting the 3 story toy store across the street. There are a lot of historical toys to enjoy looking at but they are much more into playing with them.
