We got the contact of the centre at the hotel where we stayed and this has been a great experience. We had a visit of the main spots around the life of juana la loca and the traitee of tordesillas. The people in charge are amaizing and really pationate about their town history.

Thank you very much to the staff of the tourist office for taking the trouble to make sure that we understood the information provided as we are not native Spanish speakers. We will tell our friends and family what a great guided tour we had - great value for money and very informative.

The work of the CIT of Tordesillas is admirable and exemplary. It is the fourth time that I have enjoyed the recreation of the arrival of Queen Juana to the town (above the worst weather conditions) and it surprises me again. I increasingly want to return. Exactly the same thing happens to me with the recreation in June of the signing of the Treaty; without forgetting the charming medieval market that is organized in October.
As for the guided tour through history, I repeat it every time I go. It's like taking a trip back in time and experiencing it firsthand. The explanation of what the Treaty of Tordesillas meant is masterful. I am studying the fifth year of History and Classical Philology and no one like José Luis has managed to clarify for me the transcendental nature of that signature. In the same way that both Montse and he make us visitors empathize with the most human side of Queen Juana and demystify her so-called "madness." Furthermore, from the CIT they have managed to make the entire town feel proud of its historical past and live it with the greatest respect. Something they transmit.
I cannot fail to mention the selfless and professional advisory work of the art historian Miguel Ángel Zalama (professor of Art History at the University of Valladolid).
In short, the CIT and, thanks to their altruistic work, the entire town of Tordesillas are an example of what it means to respect, care for and understand History.
Not only do I recommend the visit, but I consider it essential for all types of audiences as an example of what can be achieved when you believe and love what you do.
My congratulations to all the "actors" and "actresses"; especially, to the "queens Juana".
Thank you very much to all of you. You know I'll be back soon.

Montse and José Luis immerse you in an unforgettable journey. The passion and enthusiasm with which they bring you closer to the figure of Juana I of Castile is essential to understand one of the most important periods in the history of Spain. Knowledge, respect and affection help you understand the real importance of a Queen so unfairly treated. An experience that must be lived if you go to Tordesillas.

We loved the visit, you learn history from Montse and Luis in an easy, didactic and rigorous way.
The hour and a half went by in a flash, highly advisable with children to really understand what happened and what the Treaty of Tordesillas consisted of.

A wonderful walk through the history of Tordesillas, Castile and Portugal. The exhibition is very well narrated and illustrated, with a beautiful setting. I consider that it is an hour and a half tour that is comfortable since everything takes place in the Palace Gardens, which makes it easier for people with not much mobility to carry it out.
The wonderful guides!!! Highly recommended.
As for the price, the good thing is that it is closed and affordable.
Thanks Montse.

We loved the trip to the past with José Luis. The story of Queen Juana and the Treaty of Tordesillas kept the small group of Cantabrians who were enjoying the master class in suspense for almost two hours. We were not able to meet Montse that day but Jose Luis gave us a very instructive and pleasant time.

Highly recommended. A very entertaining and didactic explanation of the Treaty of Tordesillas (historical context, background, consequences), as well as the life of Queen Juana of Castile (daughter of the Catholic Monarchs) and her sad life, victim of her husband's greed , father and son. We are from Panama and we found everything very interesting. José Luis went out of his way to explain. Time flew and it didn't feel like how entertained we were. Everyone who comes to Tordesillas must sign up for this activity.

A very good experience this weekend in Tordesillas. After unpleasant weather throughout the morning of Saturday, March 2, we had a weather lull which gave us the opportunity to enjoy the representation of the arrival to Tordesillas of our Queen Juana I and perceive the involvement of the local people in this great festival, for which we believe that the good work of its people will make it a great festival to take into account in our calendar due to its importance.
On Sunday the 3rd, Jose Luis gave us an extensive explanation about Juana I, the Royal Palace and the treaty of Tordesillas, something he did alone when Montse was unwell. In these explanations I found a lot of knowledge but I was most impressed by the passion and dedication in their explanations.
Thank you very much Jose Luis, we will return to Tordesillas.
