Visited the city on a Sunday and should have checked opening times before looking around elsewhere as when we returned it was closed until later in the afternoon. Entrance fee is modest at 3euros, although I thinks it’s an additional 2euros to visit the tower...More

The church is nice and has some very interesting gothic features which for are worthwhile exploring and the church still has skars from the napoleonic wars

Walked around the Cathedral and it's very impressive but beware opening times! Unfortunately it was closed so we didn't have time to wait and go in. There is an entrance fee of €3

Lovely setting on a quiet square. The church is peaceful and not overly ornate which made a change from those we visited in Salamanca. Certainly worth a quick visit if in the town.

Nice Cathedral built between the 12th and 14th century with some interesting vaults and columns inside. Very nice cloister right beside it.

Impressive Roman style arches and windows contributed to good feelings when inside this cathedral originally built in the 12th to 14th century.

This beautiful Cathedral in Ciudad Rodrigo is small and intimate. The cloister is especially interesting, as the early half dates from the 13th century and the late half dates from 300 years later. The contrast in architectural style and decoration is fascinating.
