We spent the morning exploring this area with the majority of our time spent at the Governor's Palace. An excellent tour guide with perfect English led us around the downstairs murals that depict Chihuahua's often-turbulent history. Across the street from the palace is a memorial...More

The old town is not very big, but the cathedral some buildings around it were nice. Some are shops, bars, some boutique hotels. Poole like to take a walk in the evening.

This is an entertaining downtown area....great for people watching! The beautiful cathedral is on one side with old colonial buildings all around. There is a pretty gazebo and water features and plenty of places to sit and enjoy.

A lot of beautiful buildings to see, out of the way markets, a great deal of history, I recommend doing this with the Barbarico Tours to fully understand the city.

Chihuahua is not really a great tourist attraction town like Cancun or some other tropical destinations, but if you are in to reasonable prices, great attractions, and love history, than it is worth going to. The downtown is full of rich North American history
