In Chihuahua, a Must See. The exterior is amazing, and easily accessible if you're staying in Centro. The interior is stunning, with baroque, roccocco, and Art Nouveau elements. The staff is very helpful, even if you don't speak much Spanish. I speak almost none, but the staff very graciously helped me understand some of the background behind the interior elements. Do Not Miss This.

The Quinta Gameros is a gorgeous construction very well maintained. The Art Noveau furniture collection is just amazing. The dining room set is just out of this world. The house is also used as a cultural center for the University of Chihuahua, a very nice scenario for the enjoyment of book signings and concerts. Its a must-see while visiting the city of Chihuahua.

This beautiful Art Nouveau building houses a collection of furniture designed by Mexican lawyer Jose Luis Requena, as well as permanent art exhibitions.
Built by a silver baron for his daughters wedding but never lived in. A real architectural gem, it fell into disrepair, all the furnishing stolen. Fortunately the University of Chihuahua purchased it, restored the interior and with a donation of period furniture, the place is once again gorgeous inside and out. The university uses it fir special occasions and when not in use its open to the public with no admission charge on Sundays. $26 Pesos Mon-Sat. It is worth a visit.

Nice place in a mix of styles, including art nouveau. Very eclectic! Nice exhibition in the mansion. Entry price wad good but this is only for those who like architecture. Do not bother otherwise.

Really random place with random furniture inside from another mansion however it’s worth a visit. There’s a nice coffee shop next to the building.

The grand 2nd empire huge house is impressive with all its ornamentation.
Inside is the most ornate art noveau furniture I have seen - some of it really over the top.
Not all rooms are furnished, but the ones that are, are amazing.
This is a facility that is still used so doesn’t have a landscaped yard but facade and interior are worth the visit.

this museum used to be my favorite place to hand around, love the style and the old furniture, dream of being a ghost or haunted house... truly dissapointed how some furniture has gone and some nonsense exhibits are placed to fill the empty spaces..

Amazing place, so much luxury and detail. The engineering aspects for when it was constructed are so far ahead to its time. Highly recommend to visit this place.

This building was built in an era where French architecture was a trend in Mexico (Porfiriato). Art Nouveau style mostly. It's one of the few jewels of the city and It's a most if you're visiting Chihuahua for whatever purposes. This mansion is usually use for all different arts displaying, so It depends on the part of the year you're paying the visit, what you'll find there.
In front of the building, there's a very good coffee shop called Khaldi, sit by the park in front the house with a warm coffee and enjoy the view.

I believe they close at 7:00 pm but not sure. You can stay as long as you want unless you go with a tour group then you will have to adjust to their itinerary.
¿Se puede ir a tomar una seción de fotos a este lugar?
