Now almost 1 ½ months since the conclusion of our trip, I’m still thrilled with the memories and experiences of our cycling journey through northern Spain organized by Cycling Country. Our small group of 6 friends (all guys) traveled from Bilbao to Santiago de Compostela on a custom tour over an 8 day period. During that time, we cycled along... More

We signed up for the tour of the Alentejo region of Portugal and the Enchanted Andalucia. The tours were well-organized and provided us with an opportunity for some great cycling and some fabulous touring. Maggie and Geoff describe themselves as bicycle tourists and the tours reflect that. There is time to enjoy the scenery and explore both quiet little towns... More

This trip had amazing scenery, and quite challenging for what we considered ourselves to be intermediate riders. Maggie and Geoff were really helpful, and made suggestions for taxis halfway, which we more then happily accepted. The cue sheets were well written, and offered lots of suggestions for water and food stops. I am glad it is done but also glad... More

Very friendly and helpful company. We could not have been happier with the service and help. We did not go on one f their guided trips, but they gave us plenty of advice.

I took the 6 day trip starting in Cordoba; I got the hybrid which was a very nice bike but next time will pay the extra for the road bike. The Sag Van was large and handled our group nicely. The guides Javiar and Mike were in great shape, attentive, caring and knowledgable of the biking conditions and the area.... More

The team at Cycling Country put together a fantastic self-guiding tour for the four of us (myself, husband, and parents), over 5 days. The routes were gorgeous, interesting, and a perfect amount of challenge. We cycled between 45-65 km per day, and always ended up in a beautiful small spanish town with lots of places to explore. The food in... More

My wife and I did the 7 day biking tour of the white villages through "cycling country" in December 2015. Everything was just perfect. We have already been to a few biking holidays and this was by far the best and most organized. From the very beginning Maggie was extremely helpful - answering all of our questions and requests. Upon... More

12 family members, ages 26 to 61, took a 5 day bike tour from Seville to Granada. None of us had taken a biking tour before, and we were a bit apprehensive whether our bodies would hold up. Dean and Javi tailored each day so that every person enjoyed the experience to the max. Several types of bikes were available,... More

What a trip. Amazing cycling on lovely, quiet roads, in beautiful locations. With superb Itinery by Cycling Country. The value for money cannot be overstated. Lovely hotels, great food, and the guides, Dean, and Warren took care of the group, and made sure all we had to do was think about the days cycling. Certainly a challenging week of cycling.

We chatted to Maggie who was extremely helpful in providing us with bicycles for the day. The business is near the cathedral, just around the corner from the La Seguiriya guesthouse. Maggie also supplied maps and advice for a route for rather unfit people. We made a looping journey towards Zafarraya, but we cheated slightly on the way back, retracing... More
