Victor and his lovely wife are running their horse riding centre with passion for the horses, the beautiful surrounding and their customers. The owner is an excellent and entertaining instructor with a great sense of humour, making this an unforgettable experience, for the experienced as well as for the novices and less fearless. Looking forward to the 3 day 3000m trip!

This is a lovely spot in the Sierra Nevada mountains. It is incredibly scenic. A windy tarmac country road takes you to Victor's home. We chose to go on the 4 hour ride. Victor provided riding hats and saddle bags for any personal belongings. The trail starts from his house/stables and meanders up the mountain and leads to great views. We felt like you could have been in Arizona. We stopped at the top (at over 2000m elevation) to eat a lunch provided by Victor. There was so much delicious food. We really liked the local bread and goat’s cheese. He also brought a flask of red wine which Sarah "drank like a fish". It was fun to watch. Victor took amazing pictures of us on the horses which we will treasure. He really loves and takes care of his horses which are part of his family. He was great at matching up the right horses for our riding abilities. I loved my horse called "Legendary". Victor's family were very generous and spoiled us with extra food and drinks after the ride. I prefer rum to wine and Victor brought out a delicious rum from Granada which I loved. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The whole experience was above and beyond what we expected from our typical riding experiences. We would love to ride here again.

After our experience yesterday I wouldn’t think twice about booking with Victor again. A dream came true. Riding like John Wayne on a horse through the open prairie. Surrounded by mountains, drinking fresh water from clear local water which is running through the valley. And to finish it all off, having a break in 2000m surrounded by free living cows and sheep eating hone made vegetables grown in the garden and drinking wine out of a bota bag. All that with one of the funniest and warm giving person you can find in the middle of the Sierra Nevada. We arrived from Granada and it was a beautiful drive and really easy to reach. Our 4hours track started from the house of Victor which is already situated in the heart of the Sierra Nevada. Just after 15 minutes of riding we started ascending the mountains of the track with Victor guiding us safe and smooth uphill through grass and rocks like real shepherds. Even me who didn’t have a lot of experience in riding ( have done maybe 3 tracks in my whole life) felt super comfortable and save every second. On top of the ridge in 2000m we were really lucky seeing falcon circling over our heads looking for bait. I was siting so comfortable in the saddle that even today after the 4 hour track I don’t feel so much sour muscles as Victor promised me ;) One of the highlights on top of the ridge was the loping in our group of 3. It was amazing feeling so close to nature with those beautiful horses of Victor. Also the descend was very smooth and possible for me as a beginner. Victor is very sensitive and knows what people are capable of. This makes the experience with him even more worthwhile. I am really happy we decided for the 4 hours track otherwise we would have probably not reach the top of the ridge and up there .... you won’t believe how beautiful it is to ride here. Thank you very much Victor making this day to another one of my “once in a lifetime experience”. If we will return to Granada then only because of doing a 3 day or a week ride with you. All the best Jean

Thanks a lot for the long review. I can see your heart talking. You made me feel moved. That is the good thing about horses, they can hel us to discover the good things inside us. We do not deserve such a wonderful review. The horses always better than us. They deserve everything. All the best from Guejar Sierra.

I did a 2 hrs horse ride and it was really enjoyable and a lot of fun. The horses are lovely and well trained. The whole scenery is totally stunning. Victor is a very kind and funny guy who has a lot of interesting stuff to tell. He knows his horses very well and takes your riding experience into account so you can get the most out of your experience. I will definetely come back for a longer horse ride through the mountains! Greets from Germany :)

I wrote to Victor in the morning and he has been able to arrange for me an amazing horse ride in Sierra Nevada. At the beginning I was excited but a little scared too: i had a bad experience with an horse riding in Italy but i wanted to try it again for my 40 years - it was my birthday. Victor explained me everything and made me feel comfortable, we had an exciting ride with unbeatable views. I fell in love with Curro, his master horse: everything was perfect. At the end of the ride we had a glass af Cava together, with a selection of typical products. We enjoyed it a lot! The sunset was stunning. I hope to come back in Andalucia soon, for a new adventure with Victor and his beautiful horses!!!

Dear Lavinia, it was a pleasure to meet both you and your family. Horses always better than myself. If you go back to horse riding, I will be more than happy. That is the idea: leave behind stress and bad experiences and focus in better parts of our lives.
