Amazing

Needed something to do other than cycling as it was threatening rain. What an amazing find. Even though it was high season it was not busy. So many interesting, interactive activities. I normally get bored in museums and didn't expect to stay more than a couple of hours but we found ourselves staying the whole day - two grandparents and 13 year old. Many staff around to advise and help (even though English wasn't widely spoken). Wrist band allows you to leave and come back - although there was so much to do we didn't take that option. Cafe inside and places to eat a picnic outside if needed.
Lectures given in Hungarian only which was a pity. Planetarium didn't seem to be working.

Unexpectedly good

Someone recommended the place. We went and we were blown away. The missus said it's better than the Science museum in London. I wouldn't go that far, but it was great. Many fun activities, the kids loved the visit.
One thing: the bloke presenting the physics sessions acts like a bored secondary school teacher. He got annoyed by kids making noises at other part of the floor. The similar presentations are way better in the Science museum, to be fair.

Very nice little science museum for kids
Apr 2019 • Family
This is a great science museum for kids, small and big alike. We spent 5 hours there with a 13, 11 and 6-year old, and they all had a blast. We've been to kids' museums in the US and in other parts of Europe, and this is just as great, although much smaller (which can be a good thing - it's not that overwhelming). We went on Easter Sunday and it was not crowded at all. Friendly staff, great physics lesson, interesting exhibits - we had a very good time.
Note: the flight simulator is permanently closed.
We could pay by card in the restaurant (unlike a previous reviewer).

Went due to the weather, it really warrants a good grading. Very interactive but some parts a bit dated, jet simulator was not working and 5d atttraction missed.
Kids enjoyed it but would not return.

Visited this charming museum with 2 children (14, 10).
We had a marvelous time, spent 6 hours in the museum and could have stayed another day.
The flight simulator was so-so, especially since the instructor preferred to keep it on auto pilot, frustrating the children who wanted some control
Other than this - everything was spot on, from the floor of water phenomena, up to the mirrors floor. Don't miss the mini omega, the camera controlled robot and the laser shooting range. My son said the VR (extra cost of 600 forint) was great. I didn't try it.

The very best programme we had with the kids during our holiday in the area. Plan a whole day visit, you won't be able to leave earlier. Full of amazing things. The escape room is also great fun!!
A legjobb program a nyaralásunk alatt. Egész napban gondolkodjatok, nem lehet lelépni zárás előtt. Sok sok csudajó dolog, a szabadulószoba is zseniális!
