This temple is on the bank of Mae Klong river. Highlight is carved teakwood panels and celing in the main monastery. After visiting the main monastery, I go to the nearby open air pavillion which place the body of the former abbot. The atmosphere is cool by breeze from the river and it's less crowded, even on weekends.

The outside of this temple is just so so but if you are walking in, you will find the amazing arts and craft inside the temple.

All of them are made of wood; differnt kind of woods. The tree behind the buddha posture are also hand made and made of woods.

The wood craft on the wall are also hand made. It is really amazing art you can find on the temple wall.

Short distance about 15 mins from Amphawa floating market. Nice temple beside a river. Made of teak scripture, highly worth a visit to see for yourself

We went on a Sunday morning and were almost the only visitors. Right by the river, there's a special 'buddha mountain' outside and a beautiful 'ubosot'/house with wooden floor and wood carvings all over.

it's so amazing to see the great teak wood craving inside the temple. The craving wall is about the story of the birth of the Buddha reached enlightment and death. Not only the main temple, but also a museum at the temple compound, also presents many teak wood furniture, and other teak wood craving. It's located along the Mae Kong river.. Many people go for pay respect...

This is a fun temple to see while in Amphawa. It is entirely carved out of wood and unlike any temple I have ever seen, it is breathtaking. The head monk is so friendly and very funny. He is very proud of the temple and enjoys pointing out the hidden pictures in the carved murals. The big monument in the front has one of the bones of Buddha. The bones originally came from India, and they gave one bone to every Buddhist country. I have been twice and every time there is always at least one big tourist bus lingering, but it is usually not too busy.
