Loved it. Went twice. Very quirky and relaxing. Good music and delicious meal. Gets busy at weekends as very popular.

Sea was amazing to swim in and the beach is well cared for. Plenty of choices for lunch too. Nicely set in a cove

Although I feel this is a family beach it is also perfect for those days when you want to get away with your book and relax. Water is clear, collect lots of shells and finish of with dinner at 'the beach' restaurant.

I will be in port one day, May 18, 2017(Thursday). Can I get a taxi to this beach and is this a good choice for a half day at the beach?

It's doable but I'm assuming you will be in the south of the island and there are other lovely beaches nearer
