甌穴群

およそ3kmの変化に富んだ渓谷美が楽しめる奥津渓は、岡山県を代表する紅葉の名所として知られています。
紅葉は残念ながら、終わりに近かったです。
時間が無かったのでウォーキングはせず、臼渕の甌穴群が見れる所まで車で行きました。
岩の中を大きな丸の穴があいていて、2つの穴のところに石碑が立っていました。

家族と紅葉を見に行きました。
色とりどりの葉がとても綺麗でした。
渓谷沿いの道は警備員のかたが誘導され一方通行になってました。駐車場がないので道端に沢山止めて渋滞も・・。

自動車は一歩通行で駐車に苦労

奥津渓谷に入る道路は、一歩通行になってます。
最初に渓流（道路左側）があるあたり（おう穴群）
の右に１０台少々は駐車できます。秋のシーズン
の休日はこの場所での駐車はまず無理でしょう。
ここに駐車できればラッキーです。渓流に沿って
歩きができます。１０分ほど歩いて、また戻ること
になります。この渓谷から道の駅奥津温泉までは、
かなりある（２．５ｋｍ）けれど、そこに駐車すれば、
安心ですがここも混雑してました。この道の駅から
奥津渓谷の間に、奥津温泉郵便局があり、その
横に駐車場があって、１１月の平日は、相当あい
てました。ここから渓谷まで２ｋｍ位。景色は写真
をご覧下さい。

携帯のＣＭにも使われた昔話のような川

携帯会社が、桃を流して川下で市毛悦子さんがおばあさん役で桃を拾うというＣＭをとった場所もあります。他には、大穴といって、川の水で岩に穴が空いているところもあります。10月の半ばになれば対岸の山が色づきさらに美しい景観になるでしょう。近くにある『レストラン大釣り』には、食事ができるだけではなく温泉もあり、源泉１００％です。ぜひ行ってください。イオンカードを見せると入浴料を割引してくれます。

面白い渓谷ですが川には降りられません

紅葉の季節でなかったが、新緑の中散策しました。auのCMで桃太郎の桃が流れてくるところの撮影場所の由で大きな石を縫って流れる川の眺めは面白いです。だだ河原で水遊びをするような場所ではなく自然を眺めながら散策路を歩く場所です。売店などはありません。

甌穴が有名

2017年1月5日、近くの大釣温泉入浴の途中、久しぶりに立ち寄りました。

「甌穴」が標柱近くにあります。春と秋には散歩に良さそうです。冬は、温泉に行く途中にちょっと足を止めて、という程度かと…。以前はそばの道路が幹線でしたが現在はバイパスができたため、奥津渓ソバの道は車の通りが多くありません。

すぐそばに食堂・売店はありません。駐車場・トイレがあります。

　１２月中旬の訪問で、もみじの木は種が残っているだけでしたが、渓流を覆うように生えている姿に圧巻しました。
　記念に、もみじの種を拾って帰りました。（庭に蒔いて記念にします。）

素晴らしい年にはみずみずしい紅葉を眺めることができます。道路の上に被さるように紅葉の朱が広がっており、空との対比を楽しめます。
川の側、日陰ということもあり、暖かい服装でお出掛けすることをおすすめします。
