Nice place to visit. It takes over an hour driving from Bangkok. There are multiple spots to visit, pagoda / stupa area, some waterfalls, minority tribe.

We rented a motorbike and use our Google Map to bring us to this Doi Inthanon. On our way, we stop over nearby petrol kiosk to fill up just before entering into the mountain roads. The road was scenic, winding and quiet honestly do check...More

It's a long ride from Chiang Mai but the park and the buildings at the top of the mountain with their gardens are stunning. If you're lucky, you'll experience a clear day. We had a lot of haze.

We hired a private driver for the day to take us to the top. The mountain itself was anticlimactic. There are some decent views on the way up. But the top is forested and not that interesting. You can go for a short walk with...More

Take a Yellow bus from Chiang Mai Gate to Chom Thong. Then take a Red bus from the parking area of the Temple in Chom Thong main road to the top of Doi Inthanon. Cheapest way of doing the trip.
Hello! WHEELCHAIR VISITORS TO DO INTHANON My partner is in a wheelchair. Has anybody any experience of accessibility to waterfalls, twin pagoda, information centre, toilets etc? We want to do a 1 or 2 day trip from chiang mai. We will use a private driver Its just the accessibility that we need to know more about, We realise that we probably can't get everywhere eg the summit but it's looks so beautiful we want to visit! Thanks Mike and David England
