A day trip from Chiang Mai but well worthwhile. Really nice place to just wander around, enjoy great views of the National Park and admire the beautiful gardens. I could have sat here for hours!

Well manicured lawn, beautifully landscaped gardens. Monks walking around. Such a lovely site to witness. Highly recommend.

It's a long trip from Chiang Mai but worth it. The pagodas and gardens are lovely. The park also contains a nice waterfall )and market, if you're interested).

Pagodas honouring the King and Queen. Peaceful atmosphere in the mountains. Great views of mountains and valleys when a clear day. Previous visits on misty days were still rewarded by seeing the pagodas and gardens. Set in lovely landscaped gardens, including much colour. Escalators available...More

Booked full day tour at Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, and it only cost 2,000 baht - including visit to the peak or Doi Inthanon, the pagodas, visits to Karen and Hmong villages, and lunch. Well worth it, and a great escape from the city.

Lovely Pagoda with beautiful gardens and beautiful views. It takes a while to get there, but it is well worth a visit. As you are quite high up, it is usually a bit cooler here.

A pair of pagodas at the peak of Thailand. Lovely manicured gardens and panoramic views of surrounding hills (if you get a break in the clouds)

Even though is was not a clear day due to all the mist, the views and the beautiful gardens make it worthwhile.

It was about 10 mins drive from the summit and the pagodas were majestic with a beautiful garden in between. It was foggy when we were there but it was still beautiful. After a while when the fog was lifted, we could see the view...More
