nice place to visit with kids, you dont have to walk so much far and there is a snack bar where you will find drinks and something to drink. Minhas filhas adoram esse ligar, com um bom espaço para ficar. Só evite em feriados, pois fica muito cheio.

We went to both of these waterfalls and the next day went to Abade. Each are spectacular but would rank Lazaro the best followed by Abade and Santa Maria. The trek is easily doable with a sedan but wouldn't want to do it in the rain mor with a pregnant wife as it may induce labour. As for me, I... More

And I said yes! We first went to Santa Maria waterfall, but decided to keep going and have our picnic at Lazaro (we saw no information regarding food in the area, only about deposing waste). Lazaro is beautiful, and a louder waterfall than Santa Maria with a bigger and deeper area at the base of the fall. Gorgeous and memorable... More

Both of these waterfalls are amazing. I decided to propose to my girlfriend here at the Lazaro waterfall and I could not be happier with the location. The Santa Maria waterfall is located about 300m from the parking spot. The Lazaro waterfall is another 1.2km more away from the Santa Maria waterfall with a lot of steps. In the heat... More

I liked that the owners had take care to fix the road so smalls cars are able to reach. They have improved the site with sidewalks and the place is almos accesible for elders or mid-handicapped. is a good option for rainforest and nature lovers
