If you are nearby Livno, you must do this tour! The nature in Kruzi is stunning and wild horses will make you speechless. We had private tour with Silvija, she dedicated absolutely everything to make us satisfied. The tour was stuffed with a lot of information, amazing views and many wildly roaming horses. We were traveling by comfortable jeep and got to taste local homemade liquors as a bonus. The tour took about 4,5 hours and cost 75€ per 2 persons (you can pay in EUR, HRK or markas) and you need to book in advance. As per Silvija instructions, we parked our car safely next to the hotel at the meeting point. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone who loves wild and free nature and animals and high standard of client treatment.

An unforgettable highlight of our Dalmatian holiday, during which we have also been making trips to the neighboring country for many years, was the Wild Horses Tour. We were there at the end of August with our two adult children and were thrilled 😀. We have seen horses several times 🐎 and nature and landscape is beautiful. A huge herd had over a hundred animals and we were able to take stunning photos. It is definitely recommended to wear sturdy footwear and a jacket, as it gets windier and cooler the higher you get. A special thanks goes to our cool "Lady Guide" Inga 👌. She is not only an excellent driver, but also told us a lot about nature and history of the region with her likeable nature. Silvija and Jakov if she is considering a raise 😁 she definitely deserves it. We will definitely come back. And if you have a little more time in the area, we recommend a detour to Buško Jezero, the largest storage lake in the country and a delicious, typical dinner in Livno 👍😋

One of the most amazing experiences I ever had. Silvija, our tour guide was at our disposal for literally anything. She told us all about local history, gave us national drink that her family makes, explained everything about horse’s behaviour. She even patiently took pics of us. At the end of the day we got to enjoy the sunset at 1400 meters above sea level. Whole experience was once in a lifetime. Find them on instagram too @livnowildhorses

We took a tour in autumn 2021 with six kids in tow. Our host, Jakov, was an absolute delight as our guide. Knowledgeable, with local roots and well-spoken, each member of our party took home unforgettable impressions. The girls were smitten with the horses whose whereabouts our guide was familiar with, the boys loved the land-rover and the adults appreciated the view Als well as the regular refreshments, all prepared by the amazing hostess Silvija. The late lunch we were treated to was just amazing as well. Highly recommended tour, they take no shortcuts and are very respectful of the nature.

We had a family trip for my niece’s birthday. There was eight of us, the youngest was 8 and the oldest was 70. Our host driver in an old military SUV was Inga and she was absolutely fantastic! She was very kind, helpful, polite and full of knowledge about the location that she shared with us so perfectly. All in all, we had the most amazing experience that everybody should try once in a lifetime, especially those who adore horses and wildlife. We will definitely come back!

The picnic was also a highlight with a lot of homemade delicacies and completly prepared with love. It was more than perfect!
Our dog was happy too!

We visited the wild horses on a team building exercise. It exceeded expectations not only in the beautiful countryside, the horses and off course the guides. Inga and Petar were excellent as the only English speaker they gave me wonderful insights into the horses, the countryside, the history and we all got their passion for what they were doing.

They have a special bond with the horses and we were very lucky that it was the perfect day to see them. We were so lucky that the horses came and said hello to us being very friendly and calm around us. Seeing the stallions assert their authority over each other was awesome. I would highly recommend this as a must see experience in Bosnia. It was well worth the journey.

Thanks again to Inga and Petar

Ps..

Inga do come to Ireland as I think you would see the similarities between both cultures.

the trip with the agency met all our expectations. they approach the trip professionally and master their business. because they are locals, they know exactly the places and locations of the horses. the nature is beautiful and the guides know a lot of stories that you can hear from them. We found the horses and there were really many of them. they are everywhere. you can approach them and caress them carefully. there is no need to feed them as they have plenty of food in the meadows. thanks to Silvija and her father-in-law Kika for a really nice and exciting trip.

This was a really cool experience, from driving with a jeep, exploring the Livno plateau, searching for horses, and finally meeting them near the water pond. The horses are so beautiful.

Silvija is a great host, easy to talk to, and knows a lot about horses.

Recommended.
