We sat outside under the shade of a vine looking at the vineyard, sampling the wine - delightful. We arrived a little early and had the place to ourselves. Nice wines and a good selection to choose from. Pity they don’t do any food. We did a tour, which was reasonably interesting - not so sure about the philosophy behind the different wines. Told you nothing about the the taste and character of them.

Very nice people, good philosophy, excellent wines, I wish I could buy some cases, but we are on a roundtrip in South America...I definitely come back one day... special thanks to Carla, you are fantastic and an inspiration!

We did a tasting here. The owner was incredibly friendly and the wine was delicious (and very reasonably priced). Definitely worth a visit if you're in Maipu.

Very good wine, I have to admit. Very cold people, the guide was super rude, no explanations about the wine process. A fairy tale to resume 8 bottles of wine...
But again, Good wine but bad ambiance.

Only organic family run vineyard - must visit.
This is such a beautiful place I almost don't want to ruin it with too many visitors. Equally if you visit one vineyard in Maipu I would suggest this one. The wines were beautiful, the host were authentic and welcoming and the wines were knock-out. Especially the Malbec 2008.
A note of caution bring cash, their machine wasn't working which meant I couldn't buy any wine. But they do ship internationally and also offer a door-to-door service.
The wine tasting is also very reasonable at $90 (ARS) for 3 wines.
Highly recommend and Veronica, the daughter of the owner was a pleasure to meet.

El Cerno specialises in organic wines and is recommended if this is your thing. To my palate the wines are rather different. This takes a bit of getting used to. The winery is an old family affair when the enthusiasm and commitment shines through.

You will enjoy the intelligent and quirky tour, capped off by tasting their range of wines, each of which has a story and a philosophical analysis to match the more traditional measures of a good wine. It is no accident that the top of the line is called "Philosopher". A visit to Viña el Cerno is a great antidote to the more commercial approach taken by the big industrial bodegas in the region. Oh, and the wine is good, too!

An enjoyable tour which takes you through the centuries old cellar. The philosophy of the family is relatable, unique and inspiring. We went to four wineries on this day and Vina el Cerno was our favorite. The four wines we tasted were spectacular.

We went there on a tour and frankly, I don't remember the wines well, but they will tell you a great story about how they started it as a family business based basically on some version of hippy values - I liked it a lot.

We did the wine tour here, and Carla showed us around this cute little family bodega with it's gorgeous wine cellar. Her english was very good, and it was a great tour: this family is passionate about their wines, and you can taste that!
