This small gate connected the two walled areas (the areas inside the inner and outer walls) There is a beautiful view from this gate of the pine forest surrounding parts of the city (the sea of pines)

You can access about 400 metres of the city walls if you purchase a token to the turnstile for 1,50 euro at the entrance to the castle. In return you get a lot of photopportunities - you can take pictures of the castle and the town below.

Together with the castle and the Church of San Martín, they form a perfectly preserved architectural complex. They have hundreds of meters available and most of them can be traveled without problem, although there is a fee. The entrance is using some tokens that they give you at the castle reception to enter and go up.

The parts of the Cuellar Walls that are located next to the Castle are very well preserved and equipped for walking along the upper part. We took a guided tour of the Castle, then we ate and returned around 4:00 p.m. to see the walls. The area on the right of the Castle was free entry, it turned out that to see the one on the left which is larger, you have to purchase a ticket at the tourist office and at that time it was closed (perhaps they can offer everything when purchasing the ticket). guided tour referred to), there is no major problem because from the Tower of the Castle you undoubtedly see the same thing that can be seen from that non-accessible area of the wall
