Emblematic site of Peñafiel where you can take an original visit to the castle along with a small and quite interesting wine museum. It is recommended to go at the last minute and last session and it is easier to access. If you come to Peñafiel you should come to this castle, impressive views and seeing it inside is a charm, I think the talk should be taken around and made a little more interesting but it is very acceptable.

We were a group of 49 adults, it was a great experience. The guide was pleasant and the visit was educational, we really liked it. I recommend to all types of groups, families with children and adults. We completed the visit with the wine tasting with José Antonio and it was magnificent, educational and enjoyable.

I had been wanting to see this magnificent castle for a long time, the only drawback is that the visit is guided. While you wait you can see the wine museum, modern, well explained and with abundant audiovisual aids, the museum is beautiful and instructive. Once the group is formed, they begin the visit. In my case I arrived at 10:30 a.m., when they opened in the morning, and they didn't start the guided tour until 11:15. The guide is very good, but of the castle you can only see the structure and one floor of the keep. Of course, between the front and rear patios and the aforementioned tower, the structure and the surrounding views are very well visible.

This is a rather unusual castle in its shape (like a long narrow boat) and is worth a visit. You have to take a guided tour and those are only in Spanish, but for additional 2 euros you can get an English audio guide, which gives pretty detailed explanations. The views are excellent.

An imposing castle, very well preserved and restored. Access to the top of the hill is made by road, a rather curved and tight but with spectacular views, such as the view of the castle that gives a 360 degree panorama. The visits are in groups, which may disappoint some, however, it turns out to be quite informative and interesting to follow. The wine museum inside the castle is another point of interest to visit.

Undoubtedly, it is a majestic castle. It cheats a little, because it is very elongated, adjusting to the size and shape of the spine where it sits. Very original. A very spacious tribute tower and houses the Wine Museum. Access by car is easy, and if you are not in a hurry and it is good temperature you can walk up. The visit is always guided, lasts about an hour and it is preferable to do it in the morning so as not to be too hot, although it is only a while and then in the tower of the tribute is good, it is advisable.

Nice castle pretty well preserved. It has beautiful views. It has the wine museum next door. The guided tour was very interesting. The simple and very pleasant explanation. The girl who made her very nice and kind.
