My number one aim in Okinawa was to see Cape Hedo. Don't let the long drive deter you, if you are staying in Naha, what I recommend is either you plan a whole day to drive up from Naha to visit the cape and Daisekirinzan...More

You really should go to the northerly tip of Okinawa if you have time. It’s a rather impressive site with several memorials, a café (where I first encountered plum-sized mangoes - delicious!) and quite impressive cliffs and surf views. We even spotted a turtle on...More

It’s worth an effort and time to visit far north of Okinawa island, there’s quite a nice vistas from a few platforms. There’s some basic foods available and fairly big park lot.

We had only one day to see this site. We sent despite a typhoon with 45 MPH wind and raining sideways! It's a beautiful site even under those conditions. I'll bet it's even more stunning when it's sunny outside? You have to try the Okinawa...More

I rented a car and drove all the way to the northern tip of Okinawa on my first day on the island. It's a nice drive and a good way to escape the urban sprawl in the south. Cape Hedo is quite a pretty location...More

We loved our trip to Cape Hedo. Beautiful landscape, lovely rock formations, and neat attractions in the area that all made it worth the drive. There are hiking trails nearby that have excellent rock formations. There is also a huge bird-shaped (you heard me) observatory...More

My family and I spent almost 3 hours at Cape Hedo, constantly being refreshed by the cool ocean/sea wind after an long arduous drive. Getting there and fees: we drove from Motobu to Cape Hedo (mapcode 728737152*55) in about 2.5 hours. The duration of the...More

We drove from Naha Airport all the way here for 2 hours just to see this place, it is absolutely beautiful. take the time to walk around and soak in the scenery. I have never seen such pretty turquoise water with blue skies.
